If you look at other brand new weapons such as Spear-3 there is enough publicly available information direct from the manufacturer on at least some of its capabilities to know it will have multiple guidance types in one (so far GPS, IOG, MMW and SAL have been confirmed with IR speculated but not confirmed)
KH-38 only seems to be advertised with singular seekers that can be swapped, but evidence suggests the IR seeker never went past being advertised during the early stages of development, which is the issue
This weapon isn’t a precedent to anything.
You have more than one fake Japanese vehicle present in the game and they are still denying things left and right for lack of evidence.
People had ample time to call them out on this, but Gaijin is still doing whatever they want.

You seem to care about stuff being rejected from the game due to lack of evidence, all the while fake stuff are roaming around freely.

I think it’d be the easiest and honestly, the least painful solution to just accept the fact fakes are something Gaijin does from time to time.
Not like the community cares all that much about fictional vehicles.
Something that’s gamebreaking like the MT either needs to be removed or nerfed just like any other thing, but here we see the double standards, AGM65Ds were so good that it got nerfed days after it got added, but in the case of the MT gaijin didn’t touch it at all, infact they fixed its thermals.
Shame I wasn’t around when you brought up the issue of Gaijin denying vehicles because there’s no sufficient evidence, while they have total fakes driving around to this day.
Fake in what sense? The F-16AJ is practically just yet another franken-plane, but based off FSD airframe #2, which was demonstrated to a contingent of Japanese Airforce delegates. Though they did not fly any particular F-16 on that trip. So it’s not all that much worse than the Swedish AH-64 / Mi-28 or Yak-141, not that I actually want any of the listed vehicles to remain in game.
The only issue of any significance is that the Sparrows aren’t mounted to the Landing gear bay doors, but for mechanical purposes there is little difference between it and the actually implemented vehicle in game, it wouldn’t be that hard either to simply rename it as, either a Thai, or forward deployed expeditionary US F-16A and make the minor corrections needed to bring it into line with a specific configuration, that isn’t the -AJ proposal.
