issue with that is we dont know if the warhead is the same, and we also know that the IR seeker is rather short range as its meant to shoot down drones not really hit ground targets

yeah and we also know that it has a rather short range against drones so I doubt it will be very long range against ground targets
it will probably have only like 3-5km effective track range in game, but point lock from further and hydras are fast enough that isnt too bad, would still deal with AA really well

So? It further reinforces my point, bringing any sort of “well akshually skilled player can” to the discusion about weapon or vehicle capabilities is useless.
If a skilled player can achieve more kills with brimstones than with Kh-38MT, using the same logic, even more skilled player can achieve even more kills with FFARs with only “skill level” being the limit to the vehicle or weapon capabilities.
Remind me whats the difference in warhead size and type, some 9.80Kg HEAT for brimstone and some 152kg HE for Kh-38MT?
true I just dont think it will be a very big change tbh, I do still find it funny the UK and US are suffering from success that we are pretty much being handicapped because MMV is to good lol
