The Kh-38MT may not actually exist

Tbf the A10 flys only in non spaa areas

And also blue on blues the Brit’s time to time

And i also see no reason why brimstone can’t have LOAL mmW either.

Oh so you don’t think it should be in game?

F-111 and F-15E with laser guided bombs?

This dude really compared the Gulf War and the 2022 War ☠️☠️☠️

If MT can so why can’t mmW brimstone?

What missions did the F-111 fly in? I thought they were out of date by then

It actually does make sense. A lot of weapon systems get advertised early or even before R&D for them begins.

You can see this with weapons systems like Skyflash Active (ARH version of the Skyflash), Typhoon (HEAT version of ASRAAM meant for ground attack) or even weapon systems like SRAAM which were test fired but canceled.

The question is, did it ever actually get built and test fired which is the bare minimum requirement for WT.

If there was no IRL interest in the weapon (especially for an export market) why develop it?

If this is enough for a weapons introduction, I want my FnF ground attack ASRAAMs

Also, constantly. Main weapon I die from in GRB at the moment at top tier

Planes kill tanks

they destroyed the most Iraqi tanks of the war of any single airframe

I think it is impossible in modern times.

Well I’ll be.

yeah like you said it gets advertised before they begin production so i dont think its being produced in mass rn and at most its probably limited testing

have a meme about it (this isnt just about tanks but CAS in general lol)

To gain funding for development. It’s quite common for weapons manufacturers to do so. IRIS-T & Meteor were offered for sale well before they were ever functional. There’s also the Typhoon ATGM (not the plane) based on the asraam, of which mockups existed, but that never went anywhere

lol not even. Better thermal range and target acquisition etc, makes it easier in modern day

what? I mean ive seen videos of air launched missiles taking out tanks in a certain place we cant talk about

He proposed some sort of “FnF only” Brimstone that can’t exist. He’s not the only one of course, that demand is ever present. There’s a disconnect between wanting something removed because it might not exist and wanting something added that can’t possibly function in that form.

It flies to the designated target and locks on to it once it is in range. I’d presume that in order to do so it searches within some sort of defined area and then goes for the signal that best matches what it’s intended to hit, but that’s just guessing. That’s different from the behaviour of IIR/TV guided AGMs as currently implemented in game. Those will switch from POINT to TRACK when something moves through their rather narrow FoV. Granted, I don’t know if that behaviour is realistic for IIR/TV AGMs either, but their lock range is artificially cut down in the first place, so no one would be launching in POINT mode if their implementation was more realistic in the first place.

I fail to see the point you’re trying to make? Many munitions don’t have all their capabilities in game. Spike, PARS 3 LR, AGM-62 ER, AGM-130 and probably some others are all missing their datalink/LOAL capability for example.

Many planes get down (or sometimes upgraded) weaponry they never used for balancing purposes. I’d assume that the Brimstone integration on the Typhoon is backwards compatible anyways.
