The Kh-38MT may not actually exist

Even not their job there should be the section who respond to this kind of question
yet none of entire company can for the love of gods.

no, brimstones were added first in the Firebirds update in November 2024. They werent added with Storms Warning but were rather already in the game on Tornado GR.4 for Britain at 12.3 in GRB.

any picture it being carry on aircraft?

Which source.

not really, unless you have actual evidence and

as far as ive heard theres only been videos of Kh38ML which is similar in shape and size

wheres the photographic evidence + a wreck of a missile is somewhat dubious at best given that the thing blows up and the only way to really differentiate between the Kh38s (with them being modular and all) is through the seekerhead

Best way of showing it exists is a photo of it being mounted on a plane, that way its easy to see that it was A) available on the platform and B) it exists

KH-38 isnt in question. Only the thermal seeker which so far appears to have been a mock-up they abandonned

I was talking about LJDAMS, which did come with the EFs and are claimed to have been spammed out which they weren’t.

Which was such a slap in the face given it came in the same update as the Su-34. SAL brimstones on a slow platform with limited self defence was considered too OP had to be massively nerfed but the SU-34 with R-77s, a half decent FM and 6x KH-38MTs was considered fine

These came with the ASSTA 1 Tornado but if a Tornado managed to “LJDAM spam” then I am very worried for the skill state of all Pantsir players, cus Tornado is the LAST THING I’d expect to perform a succesful CAS sortie in this day and age.

Spawn rushers are easy to kill though.

Also, idk I don’t die to cas super often, if I do it’s usually a plane, like 75% of the time.

Nobody played the Su-25sm3, people did play the Su-34 but no thermals so it was less effective, people do now play alot of the Su-30 because it’s good…??

Same thing lmao, LJDAMs came with the additional upgrade to german Tornado ASSTA1 into ASSTA3 that let it use LJDAMs. This was also during November 2024s Firebird update.
Eurofighter didnt bring LJDAMs with them, they were available pre-EFT.

Only thing EFT really changed was that it was a more mobile platform, with access to Brimstones/P4s/LJDAMs and A2A munitions to be able to defend itself unlike ASSTA1(3) and GR.4 Tornadoes

It’s a lie.

It’s a lie once again.

Because it’s even easier.

Idk there seems to be more nukes dropped by brimstone carrying planes than any other atm

A “realistic” FnF range would be extremely low (possibly around 3 km or so), as its mmW radar can’t acquire tank sized targets beyond that. So a FnF Brimstone without LOAL would either be borderline useless or break physics. Which option would you prefer?

“seems” is doing a lot of heavy lifting in that sentence, given the fundamental difference between the available contemporary munitions

Hey man, pss. It should be the same for 38mt…

only if it is static… where well, it wouldnt have any problems to get closer

Lying? In my War Thunder forum thread?

People SPAMMED the Su-25SM3 back in the day, the only reason why you aren’t seeing it as much nowdays is cus, psst, there’s two more capable platforms in the game that make it easier to detonate stuff on the ground.

you do understand that the MT has built in thermal sight (a really good one) with 25x zoom? People that play Su34 (me included) dont use the onboard optics to acquire targets, you use the missile optics

No. The question of the KH-38MT is if the Russians ever bothered to put an IIR seeker on the KH-38. We know that IIR seekers can work at the ranges they do currently in game. In fact they often work at ranges beyond that in reality.

The target moving or not doesn’t really change anything about the diffraction limit of the seeker.
