The Kh-38MT may not actually exist

Gaijin has removed or refused weapons on vehicles for less, so unless they have actual proof that these missiles are used irl they should be removed. We all know they would immediately nerf any non Russian or Chinese vehicle for this reason.

And this is coming from someone who has all 3 kh38mt slingers.

Me: watches the jdam spam many updates ago. (These are laser guided by the way)
Me: watches the brimstone spam (and brimstone nukes a few updates ago, and still continues).
Me: watches the KH-38MT spam currently.

Hmm… I sense a pattern here Scooby doo.

I despise all CAS elements, yes the KH-38MT is easier, but I’ve seen plenty of good jdam and good brimstone players

Including helicopters, prior to the KH38MT most my top tier CAS deaths were KA52 helis, and first spawn rocket spamrushers at 8.0 are never not annoying

It’s funny how threads like this are always used by single nation players to advocate for their opponents to get hit with a nerf stick while at the same time asking for something that would be even more unbalanced and, depending on the implementation, even less realistic.

Where is the documentation for kh38mt 25x zoom and 3rd gen thermals

Huh? That wasn’t a thing at all.

Spam? There was like 3 competent players with brimstones for every 1000 matches. I remember meeting a very annoying one. Guess what? He folded like a paper fan after me putting 1 AHEAD round in his general vicinity. Because he’s just forced to play 2-3km radius near the battlefield.

Currently with su-30, a patch ago with su-34, a couple of patches ago with su-25(something something).

That’s quite an understatement. I’m ready to bet 100$ on me being able to have a successful KH-38MT run - without using my hands at all. Feet only.
I did it in another failure of a tank game many years ago and won. So I know what I’m capable of.
(It is actually funny that situation is quite similar)

By few I think you mean one update. The last major update was what added them.

There’s a good reason the devs ignore this place.

or because they aren’t competent enough to back up its existence via documentation which very sure that people waiting for dev or whoever to prove it.

If they were ignoring the forums then they wouldn’t have Community managers to wrangle us in.

That’s the point, the community managers deal with this place, not the devs. I don’t blame them.

They’ve been ignoring every single thread that asks question about their dubious additions/modellings. From 2A7V thread, thru Leclerc/Abroomz ones, to this. I won’t say why, but it certainly isn’t because of people arguing things that aren’t 100% on-topic (the missile dev fx is quite active in some threads that I’d say are incomparably more unruly than this one), but I think most of us know “why” really.

Anyhow, this is already off-topic so i’m leaving it at this.

That certainly is an issue we are seeing here.

If we are going to be adding fake stuff there should at least be real stuff at least on par, which there just isn’t.

When I used brimstone as an example I should have clarified that I think it’s ability to just find a target would not be a good addition, If it was limited to FnF on manually designated targets only it would be fairer to everyone else who hasn’t got such a system in service yet.

I’m just most familiar with brimstone from being british

They don’t have to, not their job. It’s well below their pay grade

Even not their job there should be the section who respond to this kind of question
yet none of entire company can for the love of gods.

no, brimstones were added first in the Firebirds update in November 2024. They werent added with Storms Warning but were rather already in the game on Tornado GR.4 for Britain at 12.3 in GRB.

any picture it being carry on aircraft?

Which source.

not really, unless you have actual evidence and

as far as ive heard theres only been videos of Kh38ML which is similar in shape and size

wheres the photographic evidence + a wreck of a missile is somewhat dubious at best given that the thing blows up and the only way to really differentiate between the Kh38s (with them being modular and all) is through the seekerhead

Best way of showing it exists is a photo of it being mounted on a plane, that way its easy to see that it was A) available on the platform and B) it exists

KH-38 isnt in question. Only the thermal seeker which so far appears to have been a mock-up they abandonned
