If you switch the language to EN in the same link, it does mention all four variants …
ROE recently re-designed their website so I wouldn’t read too much into stuff being missing (And this page is for MLE variant anyways).
A few weeks ago as I was making reports, the link in my reports would break because they were constantly changing page addresses and their website was buggy etc.
I mean, the russian language version is more likely to be most up to date
and we know that at one point they were mentioned so unless it was removed and then re-added to the english version without being added back for russian its a pretty good indication that the program is dead
yeah its not a priority to remove the mentions from the english version because the people likely to call them out on it would view the russian page where they are removed
you mean the people who would have made the decision to cut funding would look at the russian page right? while export customers who might fund development would look at the english one.
It wouldnt be the first time russia gets propaganda only tech… :/
I have a brochure there is a nazi base on the dark side of the moon. Why not add some of the vehicles and weapons from this brochure to the german TT?
There is no page for any other variants, and I have switched the website language and dont see the MT or the IR guidance option mentionned either. Im still not sure why you see it.
The HE-VT shell is literally a self encompassing shell.
Its not like AHEAD that it needs some linking to the FCS.
What proof do you even have that the fcs isnt compatible. The brochure says it has it.
Also thr bofors 57mm cannon can use it. Why not the begleitpanzer?
scouring the russian side of internet did not really prove to be useful - i did not find any concrete sources.
there ARE mentions of the missile, even its seeker head - 9-Б-7738 (supposedly an IR seeker, but no further information about it) https://www.fsvts.gov.ru/catalog/771.ru.html
this source mentions the MTE variant - the one with IR+IOG guidance
Seeing as the russians have generally stayed away from putting IR seekers on AGMs, if we look at the Kh-25, there was only a prototype MTP with an IR seeker. There was no Kh-29 with an IR seeker.
So i suspect that the Kh-38MT, even if it exists, must have only a TV seeker
