I mean, if they wanna be carefull and wait, thats fine, but they shouldnt make claims until they can post the source of said claim. Thats just basic common sense.
I have a feeling what theyre gonna post isnt gonna be anything new though. Itll either be an old KTRV archived page, or an old ROE page. Maybe a brochure or an old news article mentionning its existence with a source pointing back toa brochure…

Nope, what i saw was relating to its current use in a current conflict, being troublesome for a certain region which was having troubles countering it.
if a government is releasing information to the public on one of their own websites by definition it cant be classified saying otherwise as an excuse to not post sources isnt “being cautious” its lying about having sources

Technically, governments can put classified information on publicly available websites. However.
- It will always very explicitly say it is, you can send an image of that warning if it exists in literally any scenario unless it explicitly says it’s also included in the restrictions
- 95% of the time it will be behind a login anyways.
- There are very rare instances where neither of the other two are true, however this is comically shoddy work, for the absolute loosest of export restrictions.

MT or ML? Cuz ML is known to be in combat, I havent seen anything about MT being used in combat, and im pretty sure i remember exactly what you’re saying being mentionned about ML.
I’d post articles but war related sources can’t be posted on the forums, None I’ve seen say anything but the Kh-38ML has seen action, including .ru sources

If you switch the language to EN in the same link, it does mention all four variants …
ROE recently re-designed their website so I wouldn’t read too much into stuff being missing (And this page is for MLE variant anyways).
A few weeks ago as I was making reports, the link in my reports would break because they were constantly changing page addresses and their website was buggy etc.

I mean, the russian language version is more likely to be most up to date
and we know that at one point they were mentioned so unless it was removed and then re-added to the english version without being added back for russian its a pretty good indication that the program is dead
