The Kh-38MT may not actually exist

It is still 30km+ range, can track a moving target and has IOG.

vs the 10-15km range SAL only Brimstone 1 that quite often takes 2 hits to kill.

Rafale also has the superior airframe, radar and AAMs.

Lock target is 20km in perfect conditions and it will take few minutes to get there from max distance it is a slow thing slower than maverick it’s basically bomb with IR seeker

What?

The hoops you are jumping through to keep the typhoon artificially nerfed is incredible.

Its weaker than the Su30 so Su30 needs a paper weapon

Rafale is vastly superior with the second best AGMs in the game but because they are slow, for some reason that means brimstone 1s are fine?

What next? Typhoon needs to be 13.3 because it doesn’t have an E-scans radar?

It’s not second best it bearly could be consider it as AGM with engine that can’t even lift it from ground.

Like how ? Su-30SM can contend only because it have superior weapon and radar in all other aspects Su is inferior in terms of speed gain it worse 2 times

For me it’s the fact that the brochure itself uses rather blurry and faraway photo. Surely if they are really the manufacturer, they can get a closeup shot that doesn’t show the goddamn skies or SU-34 canard.

Hahahaha

French main found.

It’s the second best AGM in the game period.

It has longer range than AGM-65 and IOG.

If it’s “only a bomb with a rocket booster”, then remove IR guidance and limit it only to GPS.

I meant the Su30 was weaker than the typhoon if you ignore the radar, AAMs and AGMs. I got my wording wrong. Still funny watching soviet mains justify a paper weapon though and deny the same for everyone else

And we all know which of the prior mentioned owners of the mentioned craft are competent military-wise.

Here’s a hint; Ain’t no Frogfoot winning any competency tests.

And from what I’ve seen, there’s still nothing that substantiates the existence of the Kh-38MT. A whole lotta word salad from brochures and spotty pictures doesn’t quantify as evidence.

Especially when you take into account the complete lack of presence at expos and airshows.

It.
Just.
Doesn’t.
Exist.

Cute flag abuse, btw.

Ahhh i see no malice can you see any malice i shurely don’t see any malice

The Rafale is by far the best current top tier GRB plane currently, yes (and gets surprisingly little hate for it, compared to the KH-38MT slingers). The difference in CAP capabilities between the Rafale and the Eurofighter really is smaller than the one between the Eurofighter and whatever you’d rank third in that category though.

Not all 13.0s in GRB are created equal. They difference between 12.7 and 13.0 GRB air battleratings is that the 13.0s are top tier airframes that get workable air to ground loadouts. At 12.7 you have the Su-27, J-11B, F-15Cs, Mirage-2000-5ei which have the equivalent of a sharpened stick for ground attack. Blame compression.

Then why is the F16C and F15E 12.7?

The same reason the F4U-4 and F8F-1 are at 4.3/4.7, stats based balancing and US players can do wondrous things. They really shouldn’t be. But good point, I forgot that those weren’t uptiered for some reason.

That is totally why the Refale is classed as the 2nd or the best jet for grb at top right now

its far rarer then the Su30SM so even if its better its hard to complain about something you see once in a blue moon

People have been happy to treat russia as a bogeyman for years. Claiming russian bias at every turn. It’s reflexive at this point, and often unfounded, but they do it anyway. The minor nations don’t draw as much flak even in situations where they have equal or superior equipment at that BR.

not really? (I mean Ill bash the french as much as I want as a brit /j) again its more its just a rare plane at top tier I see like maybe 2 to 3 french players a game and even then I can count on one hand how many refales ive seen in the last 2 weeks at top tier

i play Rafale a lot and i would consider AASM250 second best any day of the week. Lock range is OK and explosive mass seals the deal.

It’s not even close to KH38 however. The only scenario where Rafale could be considered worse at CAS compared to typhoon is if it was limited to SAL AASM only

Not so surprising IMO. Ask yourself : how much KH38 slinger do you usually meet compared to Rafale ?

Also, while Rafale is better overall in GRB because of the FM, Radar and MICAs, in a pure CAS role, it’s still worse than Su30, and that’s what tankers are impacted by. An AASM has more chance to get lost on its way compared to a KH, as it’s basically 2.5 times slower

Arguably the A-7 is closer, not the A-10. But is even less performant, somehow.

Far less, of course, but the arguments/complaints people bring up mostly center around the KH-38MT/Su-30SM/Su-34 being unbalanced/OP/the strongest, not that it’s the CAS truck that’s spammed the most. And with that line of argumentation it’s at the very least no reasonable for the Rafale to catch less flak.

Tankers are very much impacted by good CAP being up. It’s an incredibly strong tool to both keep your ground team protected from enemy CAS and run the enemy team out of spawnpoints. But not dying to something is not very noticeable. That effect is called preparedness paradox, I think.
