The “R2Y2 Kai V2” was introduced in Update 1.43.
Update 1.43 (changelog) was introduced on 9 October 2014.

Yeah I wouldn’t pursue the image being faked, as the photos aren’t original as the brightening effect alters them but makes the text much more readable and fixes issues with lighting/reflectivity of the pages.

With all the evidence presented I’m confident in the weapon existing in some form now, and at the very least there is now enough evidence for it to be in game.

Seeker window is pretty much similar to the ML one so. I also think that some kind of AI upscaling is involved there.
Anyways it’s not the MT though, it’s MTE - supposedly a better version. The one in the game is MT.

if gunjob is to be belived, it isnt ai upscaling but adobe scan increasing the brightness
that also explains why the bright sky blends into the page

Images from the brochure look like there were taken with Adobe Scan, which is why it has the brightening effect on the white areas.
