I accept that some vehicles have legitamate weaknesses, like the Su-27s having a bad radar, or the Abrams having issues with the turret ring. But when people claim the KH-38MT isnt the best AGM in game and that its required to balanced against AGM-65 or SAL-Brimstone 1s its just hilarious.
Also drives me nuts the people that dismiss any and all reports about the Typhoons shockingly bad radar because the Typhoon can win most gunfights. Which is the most stupid argument I have ever seen.
Dunno to be honest.
I know they held some event with only tanks a long while ago, but it was heavily limited to specific vehicles and BRs, so many didn’t enjoy it.
And, oh wonder, its job in squadronbattles is to take out the Pantsir, which it is very good at. Maybe you should tell all the teams that use it to great success in that role that they’re doing it wrong.
10.3 SPAAs have missiles that go half as fast as the Starstreak and take multiple times as long to get to speed (booster burn time HVM: 0.58 s, booster burn time of your usual SAM: 2.5-5 s). That means you can just push most SPAAs and kill them before their SAM is halfway to you. Against the Pantsir that’s a much closer call, so you have to prefire to play it safe.
Then you’re very bad at using it. Can’t blame the vehicle for that.
They’re excellent to 3rd party people (which happens a lot in squadronbattles), or to murder people that are trying to gun you down. Would be nice to see them buffed, doesn’t mean they’re not already excellent right now.
That’s cheap. I assumed that “It totally blows the competition away” refers to the entire package, just like it makes a massive difference if you launch AGM-65Ds from an A-10A late or an F-16C. If you were refering to the weapon in isolation, my bad, I didn’t expect anyone to make an argument that bad. It very obviously is the best IIR AGM currently in game, no one would argue otherwise.
Best at being a non-threat, just like all other AAs.
29TDs are bad for top tier on their own and when you strap them onto a terrible airframe like SU-34 it just isn’t enough. Having 6 of them doesn’t help either.
Can we stop playing word games. You calling it a non-threat just like other AA is at worst a lie and at best, being disingenuous. The Pantisr is the best AA at countering Arial threats. The sole reason being that it has the best situational awareness, highest missile count, and can track multiple targets allowing for quick reaction time from one target to another.
No other spaa has this capability. There’s a reason why you will never see long range agm launches from aircraft when Pantsirs are present and if you do, you don’t have to worry about them.
Would the Kh-59 (IR variant) be a good replacement for the Kh-38MT? It’s a much less OP agm that being it’s subsonic, has gps and IOG. It’ll be relatively similar to the Hammer.
It is the best agm regardless of platform. You can put the Kh-38 on a biplane and it’ll still perform good because the Kh-38 does all the heavy lifting for you.
You cannot say the same for the Mavericks as you’ve already mentioned. Even on the best platform, it still performs poorly because of it’s terrible flight performance.
Me when I lie.
Brimstone is right in front of your eyes. Tornado got it first and I don’t think tornado is such an OP plane that Brimstones just needed that nerf.
Clearly from what perspective? Do you know how promise based economics work in case of highly corrupt governments? Or unreformed soviet based militaries? When I say that everything ru delivers is >50% a lie - I mean it.
Isn’t the turret ring correct? America hasnt had to fight anyone that wasn’t 30 years behind them at least since like the 60’s, probably not a lot of pressure to fix that, and tanks irl dont brawl inside 500m constantly or have mouse aim, so it might not even be that huge of an issue.
