yeah like they just need to copy code for current grb and remove the air spawn parts
depend on who is present its probably more on TO mode recently because of CAS situation
i mean why cant they just TO only mode like its not gonna hurt their sales right
The Pantsir is still relatively easy to outmaneuver at short ranges if you’re in a jet that maintains energy well in turns. The SHORAD IR SAMs we’re getting will be far more deadly in those scenarios than Pantsir-equivalents could be. You can already notice that with the Type 81, really, as that murders planes that try these close passes.
Again, it most definitely does not, the airframe is simply too bad. Here’s a 13.0 meta list for squadronbattles where people chase the air superiority meta very hard (planes ranked in order of favorability, if it’s not there don’t play it).
It might endanger their combined aspect they’ve worked so hard to sell to people.
@An_Pigeon
Well, not everything is useful in all modes, I don’t see an issue with it.
I think we stumbled upon different threads.
I guess so.
Gaijin doesn’t have a reason, financially speaking, to add a mode like that. In a perfect world we would get it as not all people enjoy the combined aspect of the mode, the same how planes have their own mode.
Hahaha, the fact the teapache on there shows that list is total BS. Teapache is one of the weakest top tier helis at the moment, only a few are weaker like the Japanese Apache.
Especially when spike and pars slinger exist.
But I love how much the soviets pretend their stuff is bad despite the fact it’s really not.
I can and do use the Stormer HVM, but the Stormer HVM is at 10.3 and the Teapache is at 12.0.
So I have no idea what you are on about.
You spawn in a apache and you are killed by a Pantsir or pretty much any SPAA the milisecond you spawn in, quite frankly it should be 11.7 at a minimum but only the Ka-52 and FnF Helis are even remotely playable at top tier at the moment
IDK my stats in it are garbage, but I feel like there is a huge difference between a pantsir player that just uses the radar guide, and one that can predict and lead outside of it and use tells from the pilot what he might be doing and adjust to that, I’ve gotten some kills I was pretty proud of doing something like that, where just using the radar guide would have netted a miss. So id say these things don’t really play themselves so much, and there is some skill gap there that can come into play.
using sound and leading completely manually is probably also the only way you are gonna hit someone doing those lawnmow runs on you as well, waiting for radar lock and using it to guide is gonna get you killed. Same thing on closer range shots and firing with manual lead to account for the missile not maneuvering during the first second or so.
There absolutely is a massive difference depending on the user of course, but the missiles of the Pantsir simply can’t pull a lot of overload at the end of the day, and there’s no compensating for that if the target is in a high energy state and dodges well. With the 50G missiles we’re getting you can dodge all you want, if the missile has enough energy to reach you you’re dead. The Type 81 is already almost undogeable at some ranges, and that’s relatively tame compared to an IRIS-T.
They’re the fastest helicopter launched munition and the only helicopter AGM that lets you reliably push SPAA. Also very good against planes if you can use them right. It’s kind of surprising you only ever play Britain and don’t even know the strengths of the vehicles in that tech tree.
They do no damage vs MBTs and can only be used against light tanks and SPAA.
they might be fast, but you are limited to only 4 and require you to hover guiding a beamriding missile within 6-7km of the target. I would have no issue dealing with a Teapache in any 10.3 SPAA let alone 12.0 SPAA .
Whenever I have tried to play the Teapache, I have been killed near enough the moment I spawn in and no matter what tactics I try, I never even get a shot off before being shot down by a Pantsir or Tor or FlakRad.
As for use againt aircraft. they are useless for anything that is turning hard and that is no different to the Stormer HVM. Though starstreaks are actually massively underperforming currently (2 recent reports (1 and 2) but there are additional reports being looked into for range as well.)
No i mean the actual votes gaijin held for it to be added or not, was voted by teh base no, but it was a while ago so who knows may actually change.
cant argue with that man.
Think a big issue with the forum is most people are pretending their stuff is bad and want it to be super powered.
Having a debate with someoneRN about abrams acting like its one of the worst tanks in game
