If you lose a relatively short range engagement against an Su-30SM in a Rafale, Typhoon or Gripen that’s a skill issue. The Su-30SM bleeds energy like a stuck pig and accelerates equally well. Defeating FOX-3s is not hard. The Su-30SM is so “good” at CAP that it usually doesn’t make the meta list for squadronbattles at all because the only thing it can do in a fight against a half decent pilot is press the “dump all your speed” key and hope the opponent forgets to preflare so that the hail mary HMD R-73 shot can connect. Claiming that the Su-30SM is better CAP than Rafale or Typhoon is completely delusional.
Does playing just one nation disqualify people from the discussion? How highly would you rate the opinion of people who have very strong opinions despite only ever having played one singular nation at top tier?

BR is basically the metric to balance vehicles out and is a visual representation of vehicle’s capabilities. You not liking the uptier mechanic is a totally different story.

Objection! You cant fly a straight line with any CAS and be unharmed unlike RU CAS because other spaa cant cover it
Gaijin is keen to not give us TO mode, as it probably would be the end of the current GRB.
No we dont need a ground only mode because then specific vehicles would be rendered useless, as well as others becoming insanely strong and camping.
As well as this, the only cas planes RN at top tier that are an issue are the newly introduced ones such as the Su34 with KH38Mts or the Rafales.
The Su34 wouldnt be bad if it only had the KH29Ts like the JH7A for china.
however I digress.

Honestly was expecting a clickbait video where some guys gets a match against no SPAA and just loiters but this was great. But this is not your average or even above average CAS player, it takes a lot of effort/time to get to this level. It also kinda show cases how bad airspawn is for being camped, you only have to look at one spot every now and then for a plane that will always spawn at that exact location and hmd lock them and they are basically dead at that point. Also shows how we need more SPAA like pantsir, those tunguska launches if from a pantsir when he was up climbing would have slammed him instead of being able to easily dodge.
If every SPAA he faced was a pantsir or on the same level I don’t think it would be that bad, and if you put in the time and effort to get this good you should be able to pull off stuff similar to this imo, just not as egregious.
Also it shows why the KH38 is dumb, that su30 that lived for like what 20 seconds at most? Pretty much had the same impact he did that entire first segment if not more, while basically just zombing.

Its been voted on about 5 times in the last god knows how many hyears and every time was a clear and consistent no.
Its a combined arms game, they would need to A refund hundreds of thousands for folks saying the game has changed, (even if it didnt effect them) and B. need to ctually make a gmae mode with no air in it. which would mena having to drastically change maps to prevent extreme camping.
Play WoT if you ever get a match with no arty, then you lose to base camping TD

I liked those styles of videos for a while but its kinda old now, and theres 10 million copycats doing the same thing. Maybe im an old boomer but I enjoy the videos more with the intro/history/overview and then some commentary over the gameplay.

PESA + 2x R-73 + 12x R-77-1 trumps the Typhoon with 6x Aim-9M in GRB at the moment. Maybe if/when they give the Typhoon a usable radar that will change.
Rafale is good, but even it doesnt have 12x ARH

No one would remove current GRB, so nothing would become useless.
Many TO polls I’ve seen actually supported it.
I’ve been through many matches without any air in it and guess what, people didn’t just camped to extremes and farmed like 40 kills from “OP spots”.
12.3/12.7/13.0 all face each other 100% of the time.
I have never ever gotten a “downtier” playing a 12.3 line-up and I dont expect that to change with the CAS moving from 12.7 to 13.0.
BR is irrevelant when ground ends at 12.0 and every match is an uptier
