I was more thinking towards them getting something like BUK or TOR honestly but another Pantsir wouldn’t surprise me either.
On another note entirely. If and this is a big IF but if gaijin does decide to respond to the KH38MT issue i wouldn’t be surprised if they decided to swap it out with KH-59 as that definitely does exist and is also in the files currently and fills a similar role.

Yes because it’s a stupid question. Laser+IOG gets you all the needed FnF to deal with SPAA, and I would rather have long range Laser+IOG than spitting distance IR.

then the only meaningful FnF weapons at top tier would be the the AGM-65D/G which are reasonably well balanced at the moment compared to the KH-38MT and AASM. If nothing else, the AGM-65 does not have IOG which is the most OP thing about the KH-38MT imo.
So in a world where KH-38MT and IR AASM essentially didnt exist. F-15E/I and F-16C would become the meta CAS until such time we see things like FnF Brimstones
Brimstone is a pain in the butt to use to fight a Pantsir and Id rather have 6x AGM-65Gs on the Typhoon at the moment
And Brimstone don’t even have the long range to out range pantsir (no body have) while All Russian main had to do is pressing space bar for few seconds outside spaa range lol

You not only have the F15E at 12.7 with AGMS, GBUS and a banger of an A2A loadout, you also have the F16C.
Cool. Let me know when it reaches a fraction of the dominance the KH-38MT gets in GSB, which frankly is the only place you really need to look to see just how great the disparity is and all I really care about and not a dogshit RB mode.
Edit: GSB is by far the best metric to judge this system by. It is the only place that is not diluted by nation mixing and provides a direct comparison between equipment. CAS either makes or breaks the match, which is reflected in the impact of the 38MT. Shocker Red has near 60% win average. Almost like having a missile that is almost immune to being intercepted vs what is already the weakest SPAA in the game is ludicrous.
