The Kh-38MT may not actually exist

True and Real on all counts.

Either that or it raises major questions as to what is the minimum requirement for a weapon system to be added and then if they deny weapons in near identical conditions. Then it raises major questions of bias

Actually I am not quite sure about that. I found some informations, photos and video that it maybe have thermal cam. But in version Su-34NVO probably. I can send you DM about what I found if you want.

Thanks for confirming S1 is such a mega AA it can’t even shoot down a plane flying M1.0 well below 10km of range.

The struggle I saw was him going sideways a bit, turning 180 degrees, locking S1 up with his Brimstone and start turning again, that poor AA didn’t stand a single chance. No wonder we’re getting better AAs this year.

Exactly.

They do themselves no favours by remaining silent. It’s a genuine thing people can use against them and if they don’t get in front of it its going to become a real problem for them going forward.

I mean it’s funny that isn’t it, TBH the rafales and all that stupid cas should of been evalued better before being added

Where’s bias in that ?
They’ve been denying things for lack of evidence all the while adding complete fiction for a long, long while. Those fakes ended in several nations as well.

@An_Pigeon
Looking at higher tiers of GRB, I think Gaijin expects aircraft to have an upper hand.

What I mean is, if they claim the Soviets need KH-38MT for “balance” despite the fact it totally blows the competition away but continue to deny say the EFT SAL-Only Brimstone 2s or even the “ASRAAM Typhoon” or deny the US something like GBU-53 or AGM-84, etc etc then it raises major questions of what they consider balanced and in the matter of bias as if the soviets truly needed a fake weapon to compete with AGM-65, then they should have added an IR seeker to the KH-29, not the KH-38

Just because people keep repeating that doesn’t make it true.

Everyone getting a comparable system at once has rarely happened in the history of War Thunder. Was Britain being the only nation with a top tier plane with TGP and F&F AGMs for a while bias?

one small problem
KH-29D is a fnf IIR A2G missiles that achieve basically the same capability of 38MT its just has less launch range(10-30km depend) although slightly slower it has almost the same speed as 38MT

Please show me another long ranged, Mach 2 capable AGM with IOG and a huge warhead in game

Last time I checked there was none.

Less range and no IOG would immediately make it more balanced than the current weapon system.

The Fact MMW was totally deleted from the Brimstone but they didnt even remove IOG from the KH-38MT has always screamed red flags for me

its still gonna be a better 65D although managable
stats is a bit unknown tho but base on current 29TD stats it would probably be 38mt inferior cousin

Even just the removal of IOG changes the balance dramatically

They balance vehicles as a whole, not individual weapon systems in a vacuum.

Why would they remove IOG from it, it’s nothing special nor unique.

I’ll do that right after you show me the Russian plane with an infinite energy switch like Rafale and Typhoon.

So Su-34 with 6x KH-38MT vs Tornado Gr4 with 9x SAL Brimstone 1s is balanced?

Because AGM-65 does not have IOG and IOG+Huge warhead means smoke rarely works

its actually very important
if the missiles lose lock it scan the around enviroment for target
non IOG A2G when lose lock just dive straight into the ground and miss completely

dont give him a new challenge
answer the subject
is there any?

Ah yes, The Su-25SM3 and Su-34 was added alongside the Rafale and Typhoon. Wait hang on a second, no they werent.

Soviets have the ONLY usable top tier SAM and have the best CAP and have the best CAS.

Period.
