The Kh-38MT may not actually exist

it is real though

You got more than a brochure to prove it?

Nothing is ‘clear’ because Gaijin have yet to say anything on the subject.

Then post any evidence to support that claim.

You will be the first.

Picture at the expo and their website. all of those lean towards its real

These were proven to be mockups.

Proven how?

Fakes have been added and removed from the game for years now, it’s obvious how Gaijin handles those.

The IIR seeker was not real.

The expo photos are mockups and the brochure proves nothing.

I suggest re-reading the to read from the beginning, it’s all been discussed ad nauseam.

And how was that proven exactly? I scrolled through most of the thread and couldnt find it not being real

Let me just read 6k messages haha. I did read a fair bit and it seems real

By looking at the seeker and observing that it is in fact not an IIR seeker.

All I saw was it actually being an IIR seeker lmao. the pictures of it show the huge lens that doenst look like the laser version

Well basically;

  1. Expo was an MLE not MT(E)
  2. Seeker was a mock-up (or laser, or not even a Kh-38 cus some people here have tried to use pics of another weapon’s seeker as Kh-38MT lol)
  3. It is no longer available as a variant on the producer’s page since like 2018 or so

Difference being that ML and other varients of the Kh-38 are a thing

Argument 1 and 2 dont make sense. 1 pretty sure it says ME on the side of the missile, and 2 it doesnt look at all like the laser version, but does look like previous IR or TV seekers

The problem is that it doesn’t when compared to other Russian IR seekers. Don’t pay attention to the lens cover, that’s meaningless. You need to look BEHIND the cover to see the actual seeker. What was shown on the MT was either a laser seeker or just a mockup.

Look pretty damn similar
