65D is definitely better than 29TD.

And have much worse target lock range.
At some point it just becomes harassment.
This not up for debate no one is owed anything by anyone, this topic is lively but doesn’t mean anyone has to answer you because of it.

I know they dont have to answer but its possible they have forgotten about it so it feels reasonable to try remind them
29TD is just a 65B with 3 times explosive mass, slightly better lock range(lock at 10km more reliable than 65B) and faster
but thats just RU for you
they dont use IR agm, but that doesnt justified how gaijin add an IR+IOG agm that is 3 times(2 times at 15km range) better than every other counter part on 2 platform and one of which doesnt even use kh-38

Yeah I’m sure CMs have their memory wiped clean every 24 hours so constant pings are reasonable.

Planes have access to 65D.
29TD can’t really lock targets at that far away either.
at 10.7 only A-10A has 65D(Early gets 65B)
you have to grind A-10C, F-111F to get 65D or F-16C and F-15E
otherwise you get 65B
A-10A Late can get shot down quick and arrive to battle very Late because its slow
65D is obviously good and 30m Gau-8 is good but it can get shot down very quick given that an uptier it face Flarad, Ito, 2S6, even 2s38 in a mid tier. Down tier is usually rare around that BR
4.2km is not 10km let alone 10km more.
I hit print screen the moment it went from AGM POINT to AGM TRACK.

reminder that 10km is in ideal condition which things like 65D or even 38MT rely on
at 10km ideal 29TD would be better than 65B 10km ideal because its faster and more explosive
they function the same because gaijin code TV guided munnition the same but both of them should be different from each other, even tho not noticeably
I feel like a thread this size and magnitude should elicit an answer from a CM, that’s just my opinion, but I understand that they can’t answer everything, people are just running out of patience and so am I.

I will say it is rather odd that russia a nation famed for having terrible guided A2G weapons has by far the strongest A2G weapons in warthunder (this would be flipped on its head if they didnt get fake weapons or didnt limit western nations by not allowing MMV for the fear of “balance”)

yk that it can get intercept right
38mt is better because its faster which mean your time windows to intercept it is far lower
launching it at 12km would take around 40-50 seconds while as 38mt only take half the time
and its not like throwing 20 gbu at their position would work either because they can intercept before the gbu hit

You might intercept the missiles but not the plane itself. It’s been proven time and time again that the only real counter for CAS is CAP.
Limiting them to only 29TD isn’t a solution, considering they don’t have enough Laser missiles to offset it’s inherent guidance flaw.
In my opinion, by far the best solution to this is to remove KH-38s from 30SM and leave them on the shitbricks.

Yeah, it’s all good, I’m honestly just a bit disappointed, but I’ve moved on, I honestly don’t care what happens to this thread or the Kh-38 in the future.

so, let me get this right you dont want them to be nerfed because then they have an actual chance of being shot down by spaa?
a fake weapon is a fake weapon if there is no counter in game for anyone else there is no need for it, there are already options for an IR KH25 which would fill the role and be far more balanced, not to mention having the best laser guided wepaon in the game still on the planes
