They are jingling the keys in front of us, hoping we forget about this thread by showing all the new shiny SPAAs that will be able to “deal” with this monstrosity. It’s obvious that they won’t respond at this point, they had more than enough time to come up with a response, and I feel like doing so will undermine the whole point of the new SPAAs.

So they are now able to sell you a solution to a problem they created, scummy as always. The fact that we didn’t get a roadmap this year was a major red flag. They never learn.

They have been mostly talking about SEAD, SPAAs and a few technical improvements, but that’s about it.

I doubt anything short of a DEW SHORAD system is capable of actually defeating KH-38MT saturation attack (and surviving/having ammo to continue doing things) , you just don’t have the time to shoot all the missiles down with guns or missiles. Something like a mobile 50+ kW Laser, on the other hand? More than capable of permanently solving the KH-38 problem.

I’m pretty sure AHEAD + AESA would be able to deal with them fine enough.

to be super pedantic, that is the harrier T.52 which was a company tech demo vehicle not a GR.1, that is kind of like saying the F-14D can carry AIM-120s because a single F-14A got converted for trails that one time.

As i currently understand it the missile itself exists, and the IR seeker head probably exists or existed in some prototype capacity from what i could tell, personally i think that is enough to warrant giving the soviets a bad weather capable FnF weapon considering the KH-29TDs don’t want to seem to fill that role in game for some reason.

a slight nerf might be in order though like having them be IOG guided for the majority of their flight only switching to terminal IR guidance in the last kilometer or so, that seems realistic to me as i am led to believe that is more or less how AASM works aswell.

Pretty sure you mean IRL AHEAD unlike our nerfed AHEAD in game

We are missing in game around 60 srapnels per round (we have currently 64) should be around 132 per round)

then i also want the aps on the mttd to work that is a mockup. that light literly has a aps with no charges on the roof

Problem with that is that it’s a generic mock up and not of any specific real APS system we know of, there is basically no information about how it would have worked if it was built.

This APS had smokes inside, and would smoke in the direction of laser.
It later evolved into LEDS 150
