Except the Yak-141’s IRST, nor the F16J, nor the future F22 HMD if it gets it, will be unbalanced like KH-38MT currently is. They don’t break the game, and the F16AJ especially was necessary for Japan, god knows they needed it.

I really love popping back into this thread ever 2 or 3 days or so and seeing more coping and lack of ruski data and more evidence that these things dont exist.
5000 + comments and no evidence, is it really going to take a second thread once we’ve filled this one up before we get a statement from gaijin?

The stages of cope are hilarious, we went from: “Kh-38MT is real, RIA Novosti and RT said so!” to “Well it might not exist, but it must be somewhere in a warehouse” and to “Actually it’s already in the game and the devs don’t care, it’s not going away, we win haha!!”

Which ones are not supposed to have an HMD? I have an idea of one but fairly certain that isn’t the one you are thinking of.
Wy would we need national opinion on that? That’s kind of a different matter. The separation is the same. Copemains cope and main. Everyone else is questioning it. We checked ru forums. Well I did.

One of the reasons I am not voting is cause it doesn’t bother me if it stays or goes.
My only thing is if it stays the seeker needs to be nerfed to something more realistic for what it would be.

The only “negative” thing for me that comes from this is air simulator, but laser guided would work though it is slower.

I mean with ML they still can stay outside of SPAA range as well as guide all 6 at once. BUT, they would be FAIRLY limited while trying that. Skill cap. Which is gonna make everyone’s current problem with it go away forever tbh.

ML is actually pretty potent. Yeah it’s not FnF but with the speed of the 38 it’s time to target is pretty good. Plus the IOG does allow you to launch outside of SPAA range giving you a solid advantage against SPAA.

That’s not a Kh-38 problem. This was a problem long before the Kh-38 was added. People have been crying bloody murder about CAS being imbalanced since the worst weapon in the skies was mk103 HVAP. They wanted to remove the mk103’s from the horten back then. The EXACT same as what’s going on right now where they couldn’t find conclusive documents about the horten being armed with 103’s or whether they would have been issued HVAP. They wanted the plane disarmed then too. All that happened is that mk103’s shot dispersion was made a little worse, and something comparable like a slightly worse seeker is about as much as you can realistically expect with the kh-38
What we have here is a problem with gaijin placing SPAAGs at too high of a BR across the entire spectrum of ground battles, and top tier needing theater level AAA to keep the skies clear. A problem with airfields being too close to the battlefield, and the potency of air spawns being dramatically underestimated. Removing the KH-38 won’t change anything whatsoever and you’ll just go back to getting splattered by slightly worse missiles. It wasn’t too long ago that the F-16’s were the unstoppable CAS menance. So you can keep wasting effort with the goal of switching which specific missile kills you every day, or you can focus your efforts on getting proper air defenses in place to stop any plane from having free reign.

I’d say both are to blame, KH-38 IS more of a menace on the Su30 than the F16 AGM meta by a lot

It was in no way necessary, gaijin could’ve simply added an F-2A early, they chose not to, whether cause they couldn’t be assed to research the F-2 properly to know an early would’ve been viable to add, or cause they didn’t feel like making the model for it, idk.
