Well, Su-30SM probably shouldn’t keep the Kh-38ML either, as there seem to be no evidence that it can carry the targeting pod required for self designation …

38ML isn’t really a valid replacement for SM3 and SU-34, as the time to effectively use all 4/6 of them will drastically increase when compared to the 38MT.

Both shouldn’t get sht if Tornado GR4 still stuck with SAL Brimstone and both don’t even deserve to have MT at the first place especially MT is fake missile.

Well the Ostwind did exist. 44 were made from 1944 till the end of the war

Gr4 can carry 3x AGMs + targeting pod + 6x Brimstones at 12.3.
SM3 can carry 4x 38MTs at 12.7 while also having much worse A2A ability.

SU-34 is almost a full BR higher so it being better overall makes sense, especially when you take massive compression into account.
Is that taking the GRB BR or the ARB BR into account? Cause the BR difference in ground battles (where A2G munitions matter) is only .4
Gr4 is at 12.3 while SU-34 is at 13.0.

Well also consider as GR4 don’t have luxury of having a*s covering by best SPAA in the game unlike SM3 and SU-34 but always facing them and need to apply more skills to make it work than average Russian KH-38 Slinger
sure as hell GR4 need full FnF Brimstone more than SM3 and SU-34 ever need MT
