If there is no evidence to prove that such a weapon has live ammunition in reality, then it should not exist in the game.I support removing it from the game. If gaijin insists on its existence, then they should prove that it actually exists and has had real-world applications, just like other weapons in the game.
yes but an F-14 would suffer at that BR
do you know what part of the lens is the seeker?
this is the seeker
inside this
its too small to be the IR seeker, especially 3rd generation IR
i dont have a scale on hand but regardless, see above
which still begs the question if it is a real missile at all?
Literally not tho. The source of the picture quite literally states the Kh-38ME photographed had an SALH seeker and MLE designation at the expo.
The element inside also looks almost the exact same as the one from the Kh-38MLE in the Rosoboronexport video and pictures of the war.
Just cuz the glass looks like its a certain colour doesnt mean its an IR seeker -_-
Also, the pic you labeled “Kh-38MT” is just a different angle of the one from MAKS 2017, and the pic you labelled “Kh-38ML” is from MAKS 2022, further along in the development process.
You cant just put whatever caption you want on pics to make them fit your narrative…

I love the flip-flop
“You’re so dumb, thats a Kh-38MT with an IR seeker! Can’t believe you got that wrong”
→ Proof its not an IR seeker
“Well its a mockup so it doesnt matter”
Riiiiiiiiiight, so still no proof of a real missile then…
If you are to find something rule-breaking, simply report it. Rules do matter.
I wish Gaijin would be transparent about the documents they use when addkng stiff to the game
That being said, if it is truly fake, why has this been allowed to stay while the R2Y2 (a plane that isn’t hurting anything) must go?
Nah it’d do just fine. Literally just a sidegrade to the F-15E…
Its likely they didnt realize it was fake. Info on the thing is sparse and as you can see from the comments, ppl that want it to be real have no issue misinterpretting or lying about what little info there is.
Even then, I cant say for 100% sure that it never existed, there is the possibility that there is a pic out there or a test doc or something that I have not found that proves me wrong, but until then, I think the evidence against its existence is overwhelming.
to be fair, it would be better if none of those systems were in the game, neither russian nor other nation mock up
you can not definitevly provide evidence of absence
let me ask a few questions:
- why building mulitple mockups of a weapon that dosent exists
- why advertise it for export if you didnt even buid/ test it
atleast to me it wouldnt make sense to advertise something for export that dosent exist at all
Aame ciuld be said about the eurofighter able to carry amraams pn inner pylons.
Still here we are it not being in the game
Companies advertised stuff that isn’t fully developed yet all the time. If people sign up as customers then it gets put into full development and production, if they don’t it quietly dies. For example the Typhoon (ASRAAM with a HEAT warhead for use against tanks) got advertised at trade shows and then faded into obscurity when no one ordered it:

What’s the difference between KH-38MTE and MT?
E means export.
Afaik just a export designation, no real difference.
Very well researched, and I’ve always felt that something wasnt quite right that no one had an equivalent to this absolute monster of a missile.
