So? It further reinforces my point, bringing any sort of “well akshually skilled player can” to the discusion about weapon or vehicle capabilities is useless.
If a skilled player can achieve more kills with brimstones than with Kh-38MT, using the same logic, even more skilled player can achieve even more kills with FFARs with only “skill level” being the limit to the vehicle or weapon capabilities.
Remind me whats the difference in warhead size and type, some 9.80Kg HEAT for brimstone and some 152kg HE for Kh-38MT?
true I just dont think it will be a very big change tbh, I do still find it funny the UK and US are suffering from success that we are pretty much being handicapped because MMV is to good lol
it is literally in the name of the thread, what it is about
we shouldnt disscuss other weaponsystems in here, as this is clearly not the place to do so
I’ve never died to a brimstone lol, KH-38MTs get me pretty much every game I’m facing russia. Any game playing against russia is on a 3 minute timer, as players get their kills (with their tanks that would realistically be much worse with anti-ERA sabot tips, and their autoloaders actually blowing up when hit like other nations, but thats a different rabbit hole), and then they’re guaranteed about 8-12 free kills, as once their Su-30SM is done they can spawn in a Su-34
Now that I think about it, I’ve never been killed by a Brimstone either, people don’t fly out the EF that often or rarely do CAS with it, Britain and Italy have better FnF platforms anyway, Germany is the only nation using it for CAS.
It has enough explosive mass and pen to reliably one shot almost every MBT with a good center mass shot. Brimstones are pretty good in my experience.
The worst thing is how the JF-17 literally gets APKWS from Alibaba with the Fire Snake ATGMs in 17 round pods with HEAT warhead. Because we shouldn’t forget that the APKWS isn’t just limited arbitrarily to SAP and HE warheads, it’s also limited to 7 shots per pod.
Also as a TBA Multi-dart enthusiast, you really don’t want them. The ballistic computer doesnt have any idea how to deal with them, so it’s 100% just Kentucky windage and guesswork.
I’ve had mixed experience. With low angle impacts generally being a little hit and miss. But more top down attacks producing slightly more reliable results.
But with the poor state of top tier GRB in general, I’ve barely used either the Gr4 or Typhoon in GRB and generally play no higher than 10.3 these days. Though with the upcoming changes, 11.7 might be quite promising for consistent downtiers. Though unfortunately the Gr4 still isn’t an option
