Go read the entire conversation. I didn’t say anywhere that the Brimstone breaks physics.
Asking me that takes longer than just googling it. The Brimstone uses a 94 GHz mmW radar. Do you need the diameter too or can you find that on your own?

beat me to it
[…] asking for an implementation of the Brimstone […]
That implementation being FnF and no LOAL, as pointed out in the exact same post you took that quote from.
but Brimstone LOAL is not break physics or fake
“It Real” even more real than entire existence of KH-38MT
please find where someone asked for a physics breaking brimstone then?
so far its just asking for mode 2 people want as a balancer to the fake putinium missile
i think what he means to say is that brimstone cant lock targets from far away using its own MMW seeker, making it a bit tricky to use in crowded scenarios with possible teamkills
Just checking in, Still no proof?
Given it is able to ID the thing its targeting, I think giving it IFF wouldnt be unreasonable if they are really that concerned about it.
IRL you wouldnt have Leopards vs Leopards for example, so a little bit of creative license for a situation that wouldnt normally exist IRL wouldnt be unreasonable
just the same stuff as always.
Well using IR guided and SAL missiles have the same problem as they can lose track or be fired wrong in certain situations and then still deal splash damage to friendlies.
not a sauasage mate
just killing times while waiting someone at gaijin competent enough to give us a prove of it existence. (which probably can’t)
i check in on this thread every few hours for a BS gaijin response because they also cant prove its real or to see if there’s a stona threadlock
:)
I’m amazed
almost like its a fake missile
;-)
missile came to us in a dream
It still makes no sense to say its only a 3km range, the missiles IRL are not guided in to 3km as far I can see when fired from both apaches and from fixed wings.
They guide in for a short period and then allow the missile to do its thing.
3km is far too close for that to work.
Can you just read the entire conversation please? Yes, the LOAL mode of the Brimstone is real of course. People usually agree that implementing that would be unbalanced. So they (like the poster I initially replied to) are asking for a version without LOAL mode but FnF capability. Which can’t work at ranges that are useable due to the diffraction limot of the seeker.
Well, you did, just now. Farther up too. Mode 2 doesn’t work without LOAL.
It IDs target on final approach. It can’t tell what’s being targeting early on.
Hey guys, I have the official response from Gaijin:
