giving planes capability to carry old weapons is much less egregious as giving them fictional weapons that they also might not have been able to use if they existed due to seeker coolant
Why should fictional things be egregious in a game like WT that has multiple fake things ?
With all the Secrecy around the AIM-260 we can find more documentation of that being tested than we can on the 38MT. I honestly don’t believe this missile made it pass marketing.
For the looks of it, the Kh-29D also has an IR seeker.
For some reason mostly Russia gets these mythical things. The Snail turns a blind eye or seems to be nit-picky to what is added to the game when it comes to Russian stuff. Take for example the missile being discussed in this thread, that still has no proof of it existing. Extremely overpowered, most likely is a complete fabrication, breaks all balance in the cesspool that GRB is with CAS, and only Russia gets it. Why does Gaijin chose to favor Russia? It makes me scratch my head so much that I am almost bald.
Part of that argument is invalid. Gaijin favors whatever brings the most money. And as a company, makes sense unfortunatedly.
Kh-29D does not exist. Usually a mistake of the 29TD, which I think still uses TV, but I could be wrong
I think this was talked about here before
I totally agree you on that. Companies in the end always want the most amount of money being made. But that can be done with favoritism too. Something that keeps coming to my mind is why not give the EFs the brimstones they actually carry, but make them carry less of the stuff, like 6 or 5? Nope. But Russia gets this monstrosity of a missile.
it should be removed as we already have the ML in game witch will be fine
You are correct.
Well, there seems to be no evidence that Su-30SM can carry the T220 targeting pod either. (In fact, the TGP manufacturer’s website lists MiG-35, MiG-29M/M2 and Su-35 but not Su-30)
oh lmao
yeah they just wanted to give russia OP CAS
To be totally fair, I can think of one other fictional weapon in game.
L23 apfsds doesn’t exist and never existed. The round entered service as l23l1, therefore l23 is made up, presumably to give lower br tanks a lower penetrating apfsds round.
I would like the round to be removed and l23l1 being given instead, with appropriate br adjustments as required.
its the same with L26 it was never used in the challenger 2s form what I remember
Oh, for sure.
I’ve often said gaijin couldn’t balance a cube. There was precisely zero reason for them to create this piece of fiction, and it’s a complete failure on the game managers part that not only did they not address the issue in over a year, but that they actually made it worse.
The silence on the matter is also very disappointing. A simple “we’re looking into it” would have sufficed for now.
Oh Well… Well… Well…
Time to make another thread
Someone already tried
Lets just add laser pods to Russian jets sure there was a mock-up somewhere. Why do they have to prove anything anymore
Found some promotional material
Ace Combat 7 Multiplayer | Fort Grays Deathmatch | Su-57 with Pulse Lasers
Gaijins got enough time to make a video about the Su-30SM and say that the Kh-38MT is its “main ground strike weapon”, but cant be bothered to actually make any official statement on the Kh-38MT’s existence or its future in the game:
Looks like we aren’t ever getting a response and the things here to stay.
