Its impossible to achieve 3rd gen IR imaging without significant cooling.
You must sacrifice refresh rate, resolution or “colour” bandwidth significantly.

As an FYI, pretty much all thermal imaging sensors are cooled in some way or another, even off the shelf civilian use ones which use TEC cooling, which any proposed sensor on the KH-38MT would have to use.
Yes, the maus, with a fully built hull and turret and all its internals are enough to be in game. It doesnt matter that the remaining one in a museum is two prototypes stuck together, its still a tank which existed.
