The Kh-38MT may not actually exist

no the ML

Facepalm

but if it has the exactly same design its seeker would be identical hence being laser guided

With that logic, shouldnt the R-27ET be possible to be used on every station that can take the R-27ER? For example on the Flanker family

its designation indicates its supposed to be a Kh-38MLE

No, the R-27T is limited by its head, as well as by the gas dynamic stability of the aircraft engine. The Kh-38 family does not have such a problem.

Not to detract, but Kh-29 uses the same pylon. The issues stems from what kind of thermal seeker the supposed 38MT carries and if it has on board coolants if it’s a cooled seeker

You compared it to other things that werent fully functionnal, sooooo you did say that

Thats an MLE, are you incapable of reading???

This is getting off topic. But the main thing with the IR R-27s is the pylon carries coolant tanks. So it uses a different pylon

I wasn’t talking specifically about the kh-38, I was saying that Gaijin doesn’t stop .

Wouldnt the KH-38MT, if it actually exists also need coolant for the seeker?

Does the Kh-38MT suddenly have a different hull design that requires a different catapult?

Ya no, sure, totally wasnt a freudian slip

The matrix may not be cooled

are you really arguing that if it existed the Kh-38MT might use the same pylon as the Kh-38ML?

Depends. Some missiles carry their own coolants. IE later versions of AIM-9s didn’t require coolants from pylons iirc

yeah seems like you missed the point, he asked for the MT and you posted whatever missle.

You cant prove it works on the same pylon, it might require coolant like some pointed out.
You completly missed the mark

Yes and yes again, they have the same body construction.

and you can prove that how? their might be changes on the missle for coolant or similar, you dont know
