True, very true, but I think that the main point the OP set out to make has been proved: No objective proof for the existence of the thermal seeker head for the Kh-38MT, which I feel like is a major factor for the amount of votes.

But who am I to know? i’m just a tired forums user who’s trying to think thoughts and failing spectacularly lol

also, literally the only other post I’ve seen with 1000+ votes was for the Su-47, and that post has been up for 1 year and 4 months. this post has been up for only 4 days, so I think it’s safe to say that most people who would want to vote “no” have seen this and done so already.

If they’re not willing to give the Abrams DU turret cheeks, which have actually been used, then some obscure weapon that’s never been proven to be real shouldn’t be in game.

Votes do not prove anything and are not objective.
Inside this topic there is no proof that it’s fake, and no proof that it’s in mass production.
The only thing proven is the seeker head is likely over-performing due to being copy-paste of AGM-65D.

Note I am talking about proofs, not my opinion; and my opinion is irrelevant… in my opinion.

As I said, there is no solid or objective proof enough to justify the current state of the Kh-38MT
(I know, that’s not my exact words, but I will adjust what I’ve said as it more properly aligns with the current consensus of this thread, and I wish to remain primarily neutral and do rough stats)

What are you on about? Abrams does have DU turret. The controvery around it is Hull DU

it doesnt though, the in game armor values are from the Swedish trials which was an export package that did not have DU

additionally this export package was known the be considerably less protective than the DU armor used domestically at the time

also more common rounds can pen the turret cheeks if you arent looking straight at them along with some ATGMs so it would be a small improvement

I still dont know what the Fox has to do with the soviets getting a totally fictional weapon system that should never have been added for being so game breakingly OP to begin with.

Literally nothing else in game even begins to come close except maybe the AASM and that came 9 months later.

KH-38MTs need to be removed from the game if they never existed
