they don’t because at least you have a TGP under the EF2K and tornado, while the Su-30SM has a TGP too it still doesn’t mean the Su-34 and Su-25SM3 don’t limit the ML’s usability

the few times i even get enough SP to spawn an aircraft as my aircraft of choice is the harrier (which costs a lot more than a su30 with kh38) I use guns to take out spaa as I don’t have any other choice

Laser +IOG / GNSS, shoot dodge, it aint that hard, u can even use map targeting feature with gps
night battles are rare.
All that doesnt justify fictional missles, eurofighter has to deal with no mmw, fnf is not a requirement.
Russia still has helicopters with vikhers which are incredible strong.

The argument hes making is basically every other nation has a gimbled TGP which allows you to skirt along a spaas missile envelope flying nearly perpendicular to the target where SM3 a and 34 have to fly directly head on (and only one of those has a thermal component). The 34 has the saving grace of the FAB-3000 glide kit but the SM3 just has no options aside from the contentious MT.

yea but like you said, you can release it outside of the SPAA range so like, meh. Stuff like brimstones (or even SAL hammers tho idk why youd use them over the IR version) slow down too much past few kilometers of flight where they are able to be intercepted rather easily. So shooting them outside ofSPAA range doesnt work well, 38MLs dont have that issue. When Su25SM3 first came out it was absolutely disgusting how easily you were able to just destroy anything and everything without much of counter (outside of spawning CAP).
Horizontal gimbal limit only really matter much for Su34/SM3 when youre firing from close-ish range, as you cant really get that much stuff into your sight line. If youre shooting from far out, youre honestly not gonna notice it much.
