The Kh-38MT may not actually exist

What would you even add? gaijin has said they don’t want to implement radar guided AGM’s which is not cool, i agree but then what would you add to give the EF2K a F&F capability?

My mistake.

np

It does tend to be more reliable overall, especially if they smoke out.

Here is gszabi’s Data mine of the states for the missiles.

Are you serious?

There has been ZERO evidence of it existence so far.

No it doesn’t exist as far as anyone has found and your repeated insistence on it has no backing in reality or proof.

The repeated calls to stop this topic are suspicious as well.

These are the main reason I don’t play top tier grb anymore. Playing against Russia is just a joke. Spawn in your 34, then your 30, then pantsir to shoot down any enemy counter CAS. It’s just that cycle over and over and over. And it’s not fun.

Gaijin better get their act together in implementing more advanced SPAA soon. We all know they won’t remove the 38MT. Hope in that happening is futile. All we can do is hope for counters to it.

brimstone has F&F capacities using the millimetric wave radar, altough i would severely limit its range if this gets added by making its guidance time halved

theres no reason why we cant just have it as we need to designate a target before FnF instead of rattling off a full salvo and seeing what sticks, as that would actually be unfair.

Personally I think the best solution would be to nerf the seeker head. There is no shot in hell that Russia has a 3rd gen thermal imager with an 25x zoom mounted to the end of these missiles.

I know, my whole point is that gaijin doesn’t want to add MMW radar for now so it’s out of the question

they simply cant afford them

It’s tracking could be nerfed as well as the brochure suggests a use case closer to the hammer than mavericks

oh no forum mod typing

Sure, but remember PARS or Magic 2 when first added?
They came in an Nerfed state, hekl PARS didnt even was an Fire and Forget it was just an Laser ATGM like Hellfire,
So why csnt they do such an thing for the Brimstone?
Like, SAL mode as currently, with the Option of Pointing an area and at range xy (3km) (no Laser support) as example it will turn into an Fire and Forget like the Pinguin or HAMMER

any proof of that? they have been producing their won thermals for quite a while now

If they can throw 3rd gen thermals onto these missiles so easily why are they not throwing them onto their tanks?

After asking dataminers, no. Technically everything comes from the PARS, so I guess you could say both of them are a “copy” of it. Tank lock range, fov, full flare rejection are the same

seeing as thales cut them off their supply and that Russia isnt putting them into their tanks which is a FAR more valuable place to put a higher definition thermal camera its a very safe assumption that they arent plugging them into their single use missiles.

Russia hasn’t got the industrial capacity for such a large scale and disposable adoption

As far as i know the MT hasn’t been sighted yet, tho i’d hold from hasty conclusions as some russian weapons i thought were not real turned out to be ( R-27EP especially )
