At 15secs it is 2x faster at 10 secs it is even more. can’t really say with the 20 secs or more cause the mark ends after 15.

- 5s : AGM-65 at 450m/s, KH38 at 650m/s (1.4x faster)
- 7.5s : AGM-65 at 370m/s, KH38 at 740m/s (2x faster)
- 10s : AGM-65 at 330m/s, KH38 at 790m/s (2.4x faster)
- 12.5s : AGM-65 at 300 m/s, KH38 at 700m/s (2.33x faster)
- 15s : AGM-65 at 280m/s, KH38 at 620m/s (2.2x faster)
and it goes on and on, only the initial acceleration is where they share a “similar” speed
Even the statshark scenario is contradicting you, because the AGM-65 seems to reach its target after 35s, while KH38 finishes at 16s (less than half of 35, making it… at least twice as fast)

It is insane to me to see someone post a image as evidence than gaslight the opposite of what it shows.
iirc the 65D has a booster time of like 3 seconds and reach it max speed in that 3 sec and relied on guidance
the 38MT has 2 seconds booster time and 8 seconds sustain burn
i am taking 10km launch range which itself is a huge range for agm65
for a 5km launch range, kh38 takes around 8 and agm65 takes around 12, which isnt a HUGE diff as mentioned

I was being general. But anyways, most nation have a form or IR weapons. I think Israel may have the most as a matter of fact.

no one is launching AGMs at 8km not at top tier, at that range a plane is dead to literally any SAM

which doesn’t matter because nobody launches at 5km, assuming there is competent SPAA in the opposing team.
If its tanks only and free reign in the skies you might as well compare your KH38 to a dumb 2000kg bomb
10-15ish km is usually far more representative of how it goes at top tier

things like adats missile cant outkill the aircraft that is launching the 38mt and manuvering
most of the time the 38mt kills me before my 146A can even reach within 2km of the aircraft yet
Tracking range of 38 and mavs is depending on conditions somewhere betten 12 and 8 km…so.

So it looks like at 10kms you hit just about double exactly in difference.
tracking a 65D is easier than tracking a 38MT with the ADATS
and given the ADATS garbage irst lock its pain
i usually lock 65D better over Brim or 38MT tho
10km+ for mt is a bit tricky for its seeker ingame iirc
