I just want everyone to be talking about the same thing at least, then everyone is free to agree or disagree as they see fit. I personally don’t agree with you here as that angle doesn’t really make sense.

This is what i’m also thinking, that and i don’t think the angle would make sense either as then the seeker wouldn’t be “centered” in the gimbal ring.

If the only proof is a mockup and a brochure from a decade ago, its not enough.
Where’s the actual evidence of it ever having been even mounted on wing pylons or used in a operational state by any aircraft.
IMO remove it. Theres no evidence I can find anywhere that it exists or was ever used.

I’m assuming you are trying to say that it can angle and therefore isn’t centered?
But that wouldn’t make sense as the thing at the top we see (according to you) would be the inner ring, and why would the seeker not be “centered” in the inner ring (aligned with the center point of the sphere the gimbal rotates around)?
