And I provided links talking about usage to the mods, and so on, things that were not classified. The mods can say what they will. They have an opinion, but have to follow the good old rule book too
Im rolling on the “it was a mockup for a future potential ordinance” side and that nothing actually came from it because this is 2010s russia we are talking about and we know their military capability has been overestimated for decades from ukraines unfoldings.
Yet the mods also said there was a grand total of nothing on usage, yet you claimed that was bias, funny how that works isnt it
That’s not what I said, don’t put words in my mouth. If you can’t comprehend what I said that’s fine, if you need a finer explanation just say so.
That’s exactly what you said, when someone pointed it out to you you said they were being biased, i comprehend it perfectly
Do you know anything about how Russians show inert weapons? I think we could figure out real vs mockup based on that
inerts one are red on jets. all stationary ones are inert. but if their motor end is well modelled its pretty much real just changed its motor and warhead for a safe placement
something something t14 2s38 something
dont worry its toally legit guys
Do the display picture ones have the inert markings on them? If not, I think it’s safe to say they are mockups, since no one is insane enough to have live weapons on display
Very helpful thank you
look upwards a smidge
my point is there is a difference between mockup and inert
mockup is usually something with barely functional parts
inert is usually fitted with some functional parts like its seeker and its fins
Pretty sure all nations do this…
I know, that’s why I ask, because if it can be proven to be an inert missile displayed, that means there is almost certainly a live one that was made
However if it was just a mockup, then it likely doesn’t exist due to lack of other evidence
Not really something worth interrupting people actually discussing the topic with.
the seeker on the newer missiles shown looks to real to be a mockup for me
other than that its rear motor is decently modelled too
I don’t see why it wouldn’t be inert. It’s just a seeker head swap.
half this thread is off topic crap slinging, there should be much stricter moderation efforts
Is there anything else to show it’s inert and not a well made mockup though? For US missiles it’s really easy because of the color of the stripe, but idk Russian ones
It’s the inevitable fate of any large forum thread on here unfortunately.
