The Kh-38MT may not actually exist

Did they explicitly mention it’s usage or just say it exists or just mention them by name?

No mentions of it’s usage, so yea. Some article(s) just mention it randomly when talking about all variants, but that is not about usage

so theres a good chance they just copied stuff from the brochures? with it being listed among the other variants that literally doesnt mean anything

if they had any semblence of credibility, they would copy from the brochure instead of making stuff up, hence no new info lol

yep, and he was really hyping those up too

its almost like he never wanted to post them or share them with mods

So the missile that basically made top tier ground RB a chore to play for the last 12 months appears to not even be in service ?

I haven’t been a fan of the russian bias theory as of recently, but this and the manpads article from a few years back really make me raise an eyebrow

not even not in service, from all evidence/lack there of it seems to have been dropped before or during preliminary testing

so may have never even existed in a functioning form

Kikka, Ho-229, etc aren’t Russian planes.

If Kh-38MT was alone either in its over-performing seeker or its status in-game as over-powered compared to SPAA.

And obviously the manpad issue is a non-starter cause Soviets have the worst manpad irrelevant of how others are made in-game. Manpads are still balanced on their current state after all, not their ideal state.

This is the answer I expected.

Yes, but there’s a margin as by how much a missile overperforms AA. The thing is twice to thrice as fast as the next in line : AASM, which is already quite broken

The problem i have with the way the manpads were handled isn’t the raw statistics they have in game (yes stinger and mistral are better than igla in game), but the source they chose, and the way they handled it. A bit off topic though. The performance margin between those 3 should be quite bigger than it is right now, and quite frankly, they shouldn’t even sit at the same BR

There is a full video where the reload is even less than 5 seconds. So why did you assume that it is 6 seconds?

There were 2 images in there of them…

id guess they were the same images of mock ups that have been posted here like 100 times

or images of other variants

There’s also a video of 4 seconds for turret-rear ammo for 5+ rounds.

There were 2 different ones… Jesus because I main Russia, everyone thinks RU mains are dumb, which makes so little sense…

There is also something called fatigue, all in all you can’t complain with constant 5 sec, especially compared to others.

You mean these?

As those are the only “different” ones I can find, unless there is something in that Rosboronexport brochure, which I cannot open. One of them is also said to be a 38MTE

ive seen the bottom one posted here already, and the top one clearly has the grid for the KH38ML

Looks similar to the one shown during MAKS 2009, but I could be wrong
