The jagdtiger is way too op for 6.7

Not the first time you mentioned someone stats which is off topic, instead of showing your superior skills by explaining how to

I’m sorry but I’d much rather trust people with 10k+ matches over someone with a couple hundred, which for War Thunder isn’t much at all.

It does not matter how many matchies, he never even mentioned or discussed the topic but first went stright to his stats. So what argument are you supporting? His experience, that is not the topic. I do not wish to high Jack this topic anymore

Many players have already stated whether Jagdtiger is OP or not and gave their reasonings alongside some advice.
Beyond this, people looked into why the OP would struggle with fighting such a lacklustre vehicle and experience is an easy point to bring up.
It is a valid point because it contributes to the gameplay experience.
The one who exaggerated the “stat-shaming issue” is you.

Lol, no, the Jagdtiger is far from being OP. xD

The JT isn’t OP - You’re just an FNG with little experience.

It’s a fat, slow target. Shoot the tracks, transmission or gun and flank it.

Or use APCR or HEAT/FS if you have access to it.

Or, novel concept I know, just avoid it.

Better engine, weaker armor, and exposed weak points. Worse gun compared to the Jagdtiger.

I know what your saying, but i have my reasons and the main reason is he jumped in with his stats and not mention the topic at all, not once

Faster reload ^^"

Faster reload sure however if you know where to aim on the Ho-Ri that reload doesn’t mean much.

My advice to you. Dont mention OP till you earn your nuke badge 😆 If your struggling with something just ask, not 1 person knows eveything about WT even the devs

7.0 alongside a number of other vehicles that didn’t go up with the BR changes but should have
+.3 BR
Tiger IIs (except P)
T34
T-44-100
Obj 268
Tortoise
Su-122-54 (should be 7.7 ngl)
AVRE/M728

There’s also other vehicles at other BRs (IS-7, Conq, Obj 279, M36s) that also should have been uptiered but to keep on topic I’ll just keep to the 6.7s and 7.0s.

Gaijin had good intentions decompressing 5.7-6.7 but by forgetting so many vehicles, all it did was make everyone unhappy as Shermans still fight Jagdtigers but now Tiger II Ps fight M103s.

None of the aforementioned need to be uptiered except for the SU-122-54.
Only if Gaijin expanded BRs by a full BR or two and a spread could be achieved would moving these around be alright.

Well, just agree to disagree I guess. They all have overwhelming firepower and nigh invulnerable armour (excluding glass cannons of course) without sacrificing significantly in mobility. All are much stronger than tanks at their own BR and even higher BRs.
The vast majority of vehicles (excluding on this list) they face don’t stand a reasonable chance when confronted head-on.

And like compare these vehicles to similarly designed ones around the BR. The Tiger II H is a direct upgrade over the P, the T34 is better in almost every way than the T26, and extremely similar to the T29, the Jagdtiger is just straight better than the Ferdinand, and the T-44-100 is just a bit less armoured T-54 '47.

Important distinction for this sort of comment- What is the Jagdtiger doing as you’re aiming for his tiny little “weakpoints” frontally? Just sitting there, not firing at you or anyone else? Because in an actual game, you’re already dead from that 128mm.

I’m for this. More food for 8.3.

I can understand if people outcry from the arcade side of the jagdtiger mobility boost but in RB? it’s sluggish

Yes. They give Germany churchills and they had like only 1 experimental one in WWII.

Get a great shock when u see an army of them coming at you in Ground Assault.

And I can’t believe the Jagdtiger could ever get over 40km under ANY conditions. Faster than a Jumbo LOL.

Tracks aren’t little weakspots.

The transmission is immediately behind the LFP.

The gun is the only " small " target dependent on range.

Your counter-argument is garbage and reeks of skill issue. Try again.

Destroying tracks or transmissions from an already sluggish tank it’s going to pin it up longer and stop it from reaching any point or chokepoint. Being a casemate tank with a slow rate of fire, it becomes easier to be targeted by other teammates and even close air support as it have a slow reaction time. While using the Jagdtiger, you might find yourself so heavily focused by enemy fire that you can’t move or get fully repaired, at least in close quarters

So, it’s not an OP breakthrough tank like the IS-3. As someone else mentioned, it’s a rather situational tank destroyer. At long range, your armor may provide protection and time to react, but the 128mm gun doesn’t have a very fast shell. At close ranges, it could be a point-and-click experience, but once again, it’s easier for other players to target your weak points and get focused by multiple tanks.
