Dude my T-90M died to 1 30m APFSDS from Vilkas so yeah, spall liners made this game even worse.
And i my top tier can be LFP by a tiger 1

İ dont care how your T90M died in that situation buddy cause thats not the point.
Point is spall liners are inconsistent on all of those tanks, STRV122 is nothing special in that case, sometimes they dont do nothing sometimes they negate entire damage and sometimes they negate some of the damage.

You know whats funny? Yesterday i shot T90M from lower frontal plate and instead of driver his commander died while his frontal spall liner disseappeared and driver survived with minor damage.
Spall liners are really weird tbh.

İnstead Gaijin should rework on Spall liners and should add to those tanks that are missing.
Spall liners are important features that can be find on many Nato tanks unlike Russian ones.
There is a reason why Nato countries developed Spall liners so early and started to use it.

İf you’re talking about Gaijin then let me just say want thing: if they want they can and will do that easily.
İf you’re talking about Nato countries however evidence are there.
Im talking about GJN, they are unable to fix M735 for a months now, when it is just numbers unlike an entire mechanic
Not unable they just ignore it, everybody knows that.
İt only takes couple of hours to change those codes on M735 yet they refuse to do that for “certain” reason.

Many Nato armament and vehicles are still waiting their Well deserved fixes and buffs while russians usually get it quite fast, hell even Chinese vehicles are almost in the same position where Nato vehicles sits at.

it’s inconsistent. Please show me a video of shooting where the side and front plates meet since I cannot find this shot. And also please lmk which patch were the challengers, merkava, ztz99 meta.
Same goes for other tanks that doesnt have Spall liners, every shot is inconsistent in this game because of how damage model works.
Aside from Merkava which lacks insane amount of protection all those tanks wasnt gonna be meta at the beginning.
Chally2’s and ZTZ99’s designs had flaws from the beginning (like giant lower frontal plate for example) and those flaws simply cannot be fixed.
This just shows how other designs are superior and had much better upgrade potantiel over those tanks.
it is much much more consistent on tanks without liners. Would you not agree? Shooting an Abrams in the side is an instant kill almost always, and often turns the breech orange, which never happens on spall liner leopards.
As for the Russian tanks shooting the projected (horizontal ammo on t80) is a guaranteed oneshot

They shouldn’t remove them just add them to more vehicles to make it more fair, nerf them a bit, and model the spall reducing properties of modern composite.
It’s just another F14 or pantsir problem, the issue isn’t the thing it’s self it’s that only a few people get them.
I would rather everyone have more consistent damage than everyone have inconsistent damage. Do you not agree?
Remember arb with real shatter? If everybody’s guns do no damage it isn’t fun for anyone.
And from a historical/serikt documents standpoint not every tank has spall liners, and it may take tremendous effort finding sources about certain tanks.

Just shoot the part where side and frontal hull armor becomes one, that area doesnt have spall liner protection and it will heavily cripple any Strv122,Leopard2A7V and T90M if they are coming from the corners.
