Yep, I know. I’m a pro complainer. But I can’t destroy a reserve pt-6. Yes, it IS an AA destroyer, but i cant even dent a plane like the PBY. Is this skill issue? (Also it has like 2 AA guns)
Going off current Akizuki class (1942) Destroyers, Akizuki & Hatsuzuki (I thought this was for Suzutsuki tbh, derp miss reading).
Not sure how eight 100 mm shells ain’t doing it against a PT-6 but those US MTB’s can be surprisingly tanky, but enough shells sent down range will force its fiundering.
Against aircraft your guns are gonna struggle a bit due to how HE-DF shells work nowadays, you’ll need to lead ahead of a target to have the shells explode ahead & around a target, I would highly suggest binding ranging shot & or turret ranging shot to allow a constant bursting of shells around a target over one large grouped salvo.
Hatsuzuki in its in game form is its early configuration, so it lacks LAA like on Akizuki & Suzutsuki, I would only used them at point defence over firing at distance, still decent against an inclose small craft.
I do kinda wish the Hatsuzuki was in its final form considering it went down fighting impossible odds, having more LAA wouldn’t hurt it.
