In my 9 years of playing war thunder i’ve never seen a BR as bad as it is now.
90% of matches are full of crv’s and terminators, and with the terminator being much stronger than the crv matches end super quickly and are blatantly unbalanced.
This post is not orientated at the terminator or the crv in any way but more so the timing of the crv being released at the same time as the terminator, when you release a very powerfull premium for a nation with a lot of players and a very mediocre event vehicle (which anyone in the game can get) in the same br bracket you will break that BR. I dont understand how gaijin couldn’t have thought of this seeming to me its quite logical.
the Terminators just shouldnt have ever been added and IMO its an incredibly difficult vehicle to balance and gaijin should just remove them from the game (like the maus and that one CV90 premium).
Not to mention their Model is extremely Awful, full of volumetric traps and black holes that dont produce any spall and seems unfinished. Its shocking this model made it out of the dev server.
The fact that gaijin is allowing them to impact queue times this severely is crazy, they wont even make uptiers 0.7 because it’ll “increase” queue times but the terminator is causing 5 + minutes wait times and they aren’t addressing it.
I can see the direction this game is headed its not looking good, either some major decompression is needed or the community will have to bomb it again because the devs only want to change the game every 3 months

Thinking the crv is just going to curb stomp all is hilarious… just like people think the Freccia is good, or the KF41
They all die super easy.
And when you complain about only the bmpt it’s even funnier because that tank isn’t the problem. Is it really good? Sure. But even if it becomes 11.0 it’s still going to be played.
And just like the freecia, if someone knows yours coming or it’s even a slight uptier your doomed already.
With or without the addition of the BMPT and BMPT-72, the Boxer CRV Block II, the vehicle would be still mediocre, maybe good in skilled hands, I’ve stopped my efforts for getting it when I can go all my way in the german tech tree to get myself one more reliable (Schutzënpanzer PUMA VJTF).

Maus was never removed from the game, and zero Swedish vehicles have been removed from the game.
BMPT should not be removed from the game, removing it is anti-player anti-consumer action at least.
It’s not difficult to balance at all, there are 5 examples of heavies balanced in the same exact manner and are 1.3 - 2.0 BRs higher than their medium tank equivalents.
Abrams has DU armor and DU rounds in-game currently.
M829, M829A1, and M829A2 are all DU rounds.
And USA got M10 Booker being under-BR’d, but it’s not complained about because of reasons we can look up on Statshark.
America gets OP tank but they don’t use it. Soviets get OP tank and they spam it out.

The puma and vehicles alike, like the CRV in my opinion do have a place in the game but it feels very off, i also think artillery vehicles could maybe replace the artillery strike if they add some sort of mechanic for that. regardless I see more of a fit for vehicles like the crv in infantry modes seeming they would be a lot more practical.
