Only problem is that if you add meteors and IRIS-T missiles exclussively for the gripen you will get a lot of complaints from the french and the eurofighter tech trees, because why shouldnt they get them yet if it was made by 6 nations?

Well EFT and Rafale also use Meteor, give them meteor as well, Germen and Italian EFT use IRIS-T, British EFT uses ASRAAM, American jets like F-16, F-15 and F-18 use 120D-3 and 9X, F-18E uses AIM-174B, China uses PL-15 and PL-17 and so on
It would only be fair if all nations get their equivalents as well, and then the situation will become same as now with only difference being that American win rates fall a bit

But again, you are still avoiding the Derby argument. If giving everyone Meteor and 120D-3 makes you worry about US win rates, then why not just give Sweden the Derby?
The Derby is a completely separate missile from the whole Eurofighter/Rafale Meteor program. It is integrated on the Brazilian Gripen E (F-39E) which we already have in the Swedish tree. Adding the Derby wouldn’t force Gaijin to add Meteor for EFT or Rafale because they dont even carry it. It would literally just bring Sweden to a competitive level without changing anything for other BLUFOR nations or hurting your precious US win rates.
Leaving a 4.5+ gen fighter with underperforming C5 just to protect American stats is bad game balance.
And AAM-3 is being severely artificially limited currently, not to say it isn’t neck and neck for best IR AAM in game currently, but it’s still well below it’s IRL performance. And I believe that is well below IRIS-Ts performance.
Meteor would be insanely broken but am i crazy for thinking that giving the Gripen E IRIS T together with a BR move to 14.7 would be ok?

I don’t care about US winrates since i have already started shifitng my focus more towards Germany and great Britain. As for derby i don’t remember me saying that it should not be added to Gripen? I am only against meteor and IRIS-T being added to a single jet.
Fair enough, glad we agree on the Derby then. If Gajin gives Gripen E its historical Derby loadout to replace the underperfoming C-5, that would alredy fix the main BVR issue without introducting Meteor ramjet meta too erly.
You are not crazy at all. Moving Gripen E to 14.7 BR with its historical IRIS-T or Derby is literally how the game should work.
The airframe is built for that high tier meta anyway. Id rather play at 14.7 with proper weapons that match the plane than stay at lower BR while being artificaly nerfed with underperforming C5 and old Rb74M just because US mains are scared of losing their winrates. Give Sweden its real loadout and raise the BR, thats called proper balancing.
we should not forget the russian players, the will also ask for their advanced missel.

Maybe dominating is a strong word depending on the team performance but MICA EM is absolutely a top tier meta defining missile right now with its 50G pull and TVC.
The point is France and China already have access to this next-gen tech on their 4th gen frames while Gripen E is stuck with underperfoming C5. Whether M2K is dominating or just good doesnt change the fact that Sweden is left behind in BVR capability.

We have the swedish one, not the Brazilian one, and Derbys are not even better than AIM-120s, I have never seen anyone ask for them.

Also “we have the swedish one not brazilian” is completely ignoring how Gaijin balances minor trees. Sweden litteraly has finnish and norwegian vehicles, and the Gripen C in the swedish tree literally got its South African weapons. The F-39E is just a designation, its the same airframe.
If Derby is worse or equal to 120, give it to Sweden and move the jet to 14.7. Simple.
Gaijin by just not listening lol. They didnt give the Mig 29 R73s for years for balancing reasons.
