The grind isnt that bad from my point of view

I’m right now unlocking a Rank 6 plane. i have so far played 22 realistic matches, i have premium account and have used several RP boosters; two 30% for 5 matches, one 50% for 3 matches and two stacked 20% for 10 games (so they only gave 32% total for 10 matches).

i have gained 100/160 thousand RP (so i have unlocked 63% of the plane).

this means that continuing on the same track with the same amount of boosters i have to play a total average of 35 games for one single rank 6 plane. then you need 5 planes minimum to even be allowed to start rank 7. which for me with boosters and premium means an average of 175 games to get through rank 6 (just straight through without unlocking everything).

So how many games do you play on average per day (or per week if its low)?

i would say its not under 15, maybe 30ish im guessing as per week i did 135~ matches

i think im having my fun trough ranks 1-2

The grind is decent below rank V. It only gets bad around rank V-VI imo.

I’d recommend buying premium time, it helps so much.

no money :c

The Pattons are the very definition of “aggressively average.” There’s always something that your enemy can do better than you, so you have to make up that difference with your own skill. I’d recommend doing them last once you get to that point.

There is no grind! It’s only in your mind.

Plane grind is good but tonk grind… yeah we don’t talk about that. Anyways

The game sucks you in with a sunken cost fallacy because 1.0-6.0 is a pretty easy grind, but after that it starts to get worse.

It can take 200-300,000 rp to fully unlock every upgrade on a 10.0+ vehicle. That’s hundreds of matches. They want you to just open your wallet and unlock everything.

Grind doesn’t matter to me. For me It’s all about the experience. I really enjoy playing Germany 3.3

you will not like 5.0-10.0 its just pain and suffering.
Also try realistic its very fun.

34fps, but why. this game is 12+ years old, and can run at 60fps on a toaster. PLZ for the love of good find a scraps pc and or reinstall your pc and update your drivers on your current one, 34 fps is why prob partly why you are bad. Geezes these peaple.

Maybe they don’t have the funds to update, but how does owning a top of the line machine equate to skill?

You will not even have to try 5.0 and up if you dont’ want to.

Some people seem to think the only reason to play WT is to get to top tier - those poor lost souls have forgotten to play to enjoy.

i do have 9.3 but i prefer 4.3 i play for fun not for top tier, because of that I actually enjoy wt

Anyone can have fun in OP vehicles (i.e. Pz. IV G) fighting players who have barely figured out the controls. It’s called sealclubbing.

1: this is a 12+ year old game(beta included), and it runs well on a toaster, you dont need top of the line to get 1080p/medium or high at 100+ fps. in fact its very cheaply to get something that can do that.

2: higher fps = better reaction time = better player in some situations.
this is old news, and the fact you dont know this is a-stunning.

The issue is the exponetial increase in RP and SL costs for each new vehicle and the rate at which you gain them doesnt increase proportioanlly, By the time you hit the higher ranks it starts to suck.

Air and Bluewater arent too bad in my opinion, improvements certainly possibly. But its ground and coastal that really need some major TLC/buffs

Pz. IV G defiantly a favorite of mine.

i play solely realistic and have for a long time
