The F-4S and the F-4J have a long time ago been pulled up to BR 12.0 as to battle rating changes. These planes are heavily lacking in combat capability when it comes to facing their “replacements” including the F-16, F-15, and the F/A-18. While both planes incorporate very powerful radars and missiles for when they were put to use, their dogfighting capabilites are severely lacking compared to their modern counterparts. The entire idea of the Phantom is to be fast and fire off missiles with precision, facing a BR with much better dogfighters close-up is not what the Phantom was made to face. Including the fact that 12.0 bears the possibility to face planes with early versions of the AIM-120 AMRAAM. An almost undodgeable missile for a phantom due to its poor turn rate. A better battle rating for both of these planes would be 11.7 so it wouldn’t face much weaker foes but not too powerful ones.
Instead of them being moved down, we need proper decompression in br bracket of 10.0 to 13.7. Gaijin most of the time decamperes top tier but just forgets about high tier
This is a very good way to fix the very tight BR’s this game often faces, and may help many other struggling planes in that area.

If we think about the measure to F-15A, and how much Gaijin loves compression, we can consider the buff of F-4J/S

Yeah, in the current BR chart which F-4EJ Kai and F-16A is staying 12.3… Sending F-4J/S to 12.3 rn is really unfair.

hell, decompressing even just to 15.0 would allow for some significant reshuffles between 11.7 - current 14.7 as a whole
The Kfir C7 and the F-4JUNK could probably do with being 11.7, but the F-4S/J (US) are fine at 12.0, just need to move the F-18s, F-15s, Mig-29s, Su-27s, etc up
