That was also one of my questions — how exactly does War Thunder measure thrust? Because if you look up the numbers publicly — including sources like Wikipedia — the thrust values are consistent, yet the in-game stat card shows something else. So I was wondering whether the thrust shown in War Thunder is static thrust, thrust at a specific altitude, thrust while moving, or something reduced for balancing. I might be mistaken on the technical part, but that was the core of what I meant: how is the thrust being calculated in-game compared to the expected real-world figures?
Right now, that’s technically true, but with the next update the Eurofighter (at least for Germany) is getting the option to carry more missiles — up to ten — whereas the F-15C/Golden Eagle has several real images of it carrying more missiles, yet doesn’t receive that loadout in-game. I’m not saying the F-15 should dominate BVR, but when you’re a 14.3 BR aircraft and the main difference from the 13.7 F-15 is just slightly improved missiles, radar, and countermeasures, it raises the question of whether the higher BR is justified without any additional capability.

first, they were expecting some modern fighter… and that was not the case.
Instead …
They flied without AWACS. MiGs had an Il-76 AWACS with them.
They exploited the size difference , the F-15 was visible 20km from them .
The MiGs use Elbit jammer (EL/L8222 i think) , which is very modern and yes can hinter the BVR potential of F-15s , plus the fact MiG 21 is already small enough in the radar a combination that made them near stealth for F-15s.
A pilot , Cammander Nayani , said it was basic pilot errors from the US as well… MiG 21 was visibl near them, they were still stuck on radar searches and not use their eyes. And that’s FATAL. (outflown).
Whne they MiG close in they ^shot^ R-73 in the merge exploiting their AoA against the heavier F-15s (in a prolonged fight F-15s would win) .

We are witnessing levels of BR abnormality just one step below the BMPT situation.
The main cause is creating compression by moving down jets that have radical advantage over competition below them instead of making a proper decompression. All that K/D came at the expense of others. Someone suffered so that F-15 players could get a good time.
Is it so hard to move top tier +0.7 up instead of +0.3 and make room for decompression in the BR’s just below them?
And no, this monster isn’t balanced either and should go up in BR with the next decompression leaving the headroom for the F-15A and MiG-29’s and Hornets below it.

Im more concerned with the fact that F-15 BR buff unleashed a tidal wave of people asking THEIR planes to be moved down in BR with argument of “well F-15A is 12.7 now”.
Sure, lets just throw away the communitys hard fought decompression second gaijin moves one plane down and make the game worse for everyone.
