Not at all. Just as everyone predicted, people just don’t die to Fakours anymore. Just like people naturally stopped dying to Phoenixes. And with it being the F-14A, you can’t get to the ideal parameters for launches (outside of airspawns), which means your missiles perform worse overall. The R-73 won’t fix the problems the F-14A IRIAF has, but it’ll help it perform in its worst element, which is CQC.

Eh, fair enough. Thinking about it, my one concern was that because Fakours are better than Phoenixes, it would end up being better than F-14B should it get R-73s, but then again, it has the same RWR as naval Phantoms and same amount of CMs.
F-14B has the RWR/Engine advantage still, IRIAF is using incredibly outdated avionics and FM at 13.0

oh i forgot it gets 9hs imo it should go to 13.0 but get 9ls and b to 13.3 for 9ms both are pretty good hard to balence so eh
that is nonsense. f15a is better in every way and it sits at 13.0 but f14 would go at 13.3 with 9ms?

thats not necessary with current compression, if anything they both need those missiles at their current BRs.

Always push for decompression, never to put stuff down to cause more compression. Also, in this plane’s case – I feel it’ll always stay in this sort of position because most people in ARB are base bombers, and base bombers can’t dodge AIM-54s…
It’s the eternal issue of skill present in this game. Mostly Gaijin’s fault for not teaching players properly, but still.

really insane how compressed 12.0 to 13.0 is, like CRAZY compressed, f-4j can fight the su27/33 like what is lil bro going to do against 6 r27s and 4 r73s, and the f15a is 12.7(it shouldnt be at the same tier as the su27 but it should be decompressed not undertiered), not to mention the Pay to wind f/a18cs which gaijin decided theyre the only aircraft allowed to have the aim7p at playable brs(im still extremely salty about this)
