I agree honestly with the main sentiment. Even if it’s not very good, I believe that too many staple aircrafts are being locked behind events and premiums, with no way to get them for the main tree aside from if Gaijin did the unprecedented and swapped an event vehicle with another similar vehicle, which i wouldn’t be against. Such as swapping the F-11F with the F-11F1F, or the F4D-1 with the F5D. And in the case of this, swap the F-106A with the F-106B, which is actually better, because it has all the same armaments, and is better area ruled, and lighter. And I’ll be honest, these three are really the only ones that I have a big problem with (at least for American air)

There is nothing stopping the gun installation from being fitted to a 106B.
As a console player I hate events across the board regardless of the vehicle because for us once the event ends, it’s gone for good. Does suck extra though for cool stuff like this.
The recalcitrance of Gaijin to rerun old event vehicles (ones released before the market) is quite sad, yes. I remember I was literally one minute too late to finish grinding the A-26B (Black camo, premium with the bomber glazed nose) one summer event, and am very disappointed that it has never re-run for the many years since.
Now with the market there is less reason for them to re-run event vehicles. Because they can get into legal hot water for doing so. Old event vehicles though? Not so much. Nobody is really hurt by letting more people play them.
