The F-102A Issue, Sharpening the Dagger

Because both the F-100D and F-102A used engines belonging to the J57 family, while the F-106A used the J75 engine.

And that’s how they erroneously concluded that, without considering the different airframes and different engine variants with different thrust outputs.

The funny thing is they understand differences, which is why F-15s have a different thrust curve to F-16s.
I think they might’ve misunderstood F-102’s designed speeds.

I will once again remind people that the developers saw absolutely no issue with the state this plane is in when freshly unlocked.

The F117 may only have two guided bombs to start with, but 2 bombs is all that it could ever get; and that is a squadron vehicle, this is in tech tree vehicle that has to make due with 2 air to air rear aspect IR missiles and nothing else.

so we can nerf the SU30 cause mig 29 uses same engine then ?

What Su-30 uses a MiG-29 engine?

never mind just realized that there not same

J10 does tho so maybe off that

The J-10A has the 31FN compared to the 31F of the majority of the Su-30s. It would actually be a buff for the Su-30s.

Why do the developers add AIM-4F/G if they do not fit within the F-102A? Is gaijin really-

Well, other lads have said enough about the F-102, so I need to ask you about a specific point.

The hell are you talking about, mate?

Hellenic F-86E(M) was an ex-RAF Sabre F.4, Canadian Sabre Mk.4 one. Just as the Italian one is.
But Gaijin implemented it at the level of the Sabre Mk.6, not the Mk.4

But you are claiming non-existence version of the Sabre Mk.4 with a Mk.6 engine is ‘real’…

Then, do we need to call the addition of AIM-4F/G on the F-102A ‘real and accurate’?
Or should we call the Sea Meteor identical to the Meteor F.3 since their biggest difference is the engine, and call it just ‘Meteor F.3’ real?

Yes, the Hellenic Air Force operated the F-86E(M). It is true.
But do you have any specific source that they used the Orenda 14 and identical to Mk.6 variants?

@StormRyder13
Would you like to explain to Stockholm that we’re correct about the F-86EM never using the Orenda 14 engine?
Cause I’m not going to as this is a topic about the F-102A, not the F-86EM.

If they think I or anyone else here is wrong, they can supply proof to the contrary.
But as far as I know, we all have correct information that the F-86EM does not use the Orenda 14 engine.

The irony is Stockholm is allegedly agreeing with us that the F-86EM does not use the engine… but since their post contains claims it’s wrong to say it doesn’t use the Orenda 14 engine, that’s conflicting messaging in their post.

the aim4fs are going to be utterly useless, they cant even hit a tu-95m flightning level

Aside from my message being removed, you pretty much nailed it.

Too much paint thinner fumes in their brains to be able to see any reason

did they even add back the gun pod for the F102? if it’s gona be stuck with f106’s missiles and have no gun then its gona be ROUGH for anyone trying to fly this thing. I play the F106 and I love that plane and 80% of the kills I got are from my gun. The missiles are ASS. Terrible motor + shit ton of drag for some reason so ur effective range is like ~1km depending on u and ur target speed. So F102 without a gun and missing a chunk of the real engine thrust is gona be nearly unplayable

As far as I can tell

Nothing has changed on F-102, except the Nozzle bug

not even SUU-11 pods we saw on the dev server briefly
