The extra 10° allows just for that.
It does matter that it allows for a much larger (and 10° sounds small, but in this context, it’s not) notch window while reaping datalink guidance in case your own missiles get notched, consequently making them harder to defeat.
Big reason why fox-threes are stronger with AESA platforms.
Don’t you try and put the missile slightly behind your side when flying defensive???

If the German EF200 should not have been granted the pirate, then other countries should not have been granted the AMK either. They should restore history and create uniqueness

Flight performance is much, much more meta than BVR performance in the current state of ARB, thus giving German EFT it’s AMK kit is out of the question, especially if you want to use it as a balancing tool.
The only sane option in here.
id rather have the good radar on my typhoon , amk kit can come at another time please , theres no reason for me to grind another typhoon with aesa if aesa will be worthless

Im tired of having to grind an extra vehicle for what could be a modification instead.
I remeber that gaijin made us swedish players grind for a second jas 39 only difference being, that it got access to their historical amraam armament instead of the made up skyflash.
Same thing with the f15 golden eagle and most of the other f15s in-game.
They aren’t even foldered like the J11s in the Chinnese tech tree.

We can contact Hensold directly to ask them for clarification regarding the MK1 radar compared to the MK0 and the MK2 in terms of Field of Regard.
Closure rate of the missile means that you’re actually in the notch past 90°+. At 90° exactly, you’re still going to have to break lock and pull outside of your radars gimbal to defend. With 100° you shouldn’t need to do this because the extra 10° means you can actually notch and still guide your missile.

In the same update, they’re giving all AH-64Es IRCM, even though in real life it was only available to the US, and they’re specifically cutting down the radar on the German Eurofighter.
No double standards.

I prefer helicopters over jets. At the moment, I’m flying a Tiger UHT with PARS and Stingers against a Mi-28NM with a sci-fi shield, a laser cannon, and one-hit-wonder fire-and-forget missiles – all of which are assigned the same BR.
And even the Tiger UHT is worse than the French version, which never even entered operational service and fires fantasy missiles that aren’t allowed to be called PARS.
So yes, I have no problem with a German EF getting the AMK as compensation for a slightly worse (even if that probably doesn’t reflect reality) radar.
Can someone explain to me why it’s not allowed to work the other way around for once?

I don´t know why this extended so long, the easier way to fix this is giving the ±100° to the german EF, ±10° is not a big advantage but it is an advantage at the end of the day.
Also the devs could easily justify it by taking on count that Captor-E (all variants) is supposed to have ±100° fov as stated on the official EF and airbus website, and hendsoldt just put ±90° because thats where the optimal performance is reached as some pople mentioned on the bug report:

It’s frustrating to see everyone arguing about what efts should and shouldn’t have. I feel like they should each be unique, that way there is some pride in flying one over the other. It’s not the worst thing in the world to have more reasons to hate the Brits or Italians ( envy can be quite motivating). I’m all for a worse radar, and losing brimstones or Pirate etc in exchange for an amk down the road. I mean, we can’t just ask for parity with no reason, the F-22 will come and the efts will have to take a back seat there anyway
