The EC-665 Tiger UHT's Battle Rating needs to be adjusted

yeah dont think it was really neccesarry for that to be added france already had more than enough helicopters and quite alot more tigers than germany meanwhile germany still has the same one thats why I say they should have put the Dutch into the german tree

Yep, the Tiger was a cooperation between France and Germany, but Ger just gets one chopper out of it. While France got three (+1 prem). They could have given Ger also a foreign TT version. Australia or whatever.

Spain, maybe (or we can stop only at H-145M)

I’d much rather have the H145M, I don’t want to see another copy-paste UHT being added to the game, that’s lame. We have too much of it already.

The H145M could be 12.7 so that it can compliment the Swiss Hornet at 12.7 too. It’s a civilian helicopter converted to a military one, I don’t know how many Spikes it can carry, but not many, probably 4 from what I’ve seen.

Edit:
Yeah… The H145 has been rotting in the files for ages. RIP little one, you never made it in time.

Eight according to some pics. But the final configuration of the LKH is still not fixed. Its planned to have like 80 of these. They’re supposed to get quickly converted for certain mission types: Transport, special ops, anti tank, close support etc.

The whole LKH (H145M) thing is just a gap filler. Bundeswehr considers the UHT one of these failed international cooperations. Its readiness rating is very low, too many maintencance hours required for too few flight ones. Thats why they also refuse to take part in any further development of the Tiger.

H145k is very reliable and Germany already operates alot of these. The production chain is more or less in German hands and can be quickly increased. Its planned to get a new attack choper in the long run. Or just replace the system “attack chopper” with drones. Alot ppl think its one of these systems which aren’t needed anymore. See the current big conflict.

Every time I hear French and international cooperation, something is always bound to go wrong. The Tiger was a massive failure, I mean, just look at how far the Apache, Kamov and Mi’s have gone while the Eurocopter is the only one lagging behind.

At least having 8 Spikes sounds quite good, and if Gaijin actually models top-attack for them in the coming updates (not that they can hide the bias any longer) I see this little chopper and other Spike carriers being somewhat usable.

It would still suck because it would lack a turret, countermeasures and probably a RWR, it’s a civilian helicopter after all, but at 12.7 it means not having to deal with 13.0 crap most of the time.

You say this but these helis have been dominating for years against the apache so what goes around comes around from all that ive seen.

Nah, it got CMs and defense systems. There are already vids showing it autodispensing etc.

At the end it will likely just lack a turret. Anti air will be provided with Stingers, thats already decided.

That’s very good, it will be the BO105 of top tier if it ever gets added, which I really doubt since Gaijin probably scrapped the concept, seeing as the H145 has been quietly rotting away in the files… It’s still in the development phase, they probably want to wait for a final production one before adding it to the game.

Still, so typically German to have another chopper without chin gun. In the age of drones this could have been one cost effective way to gun them down.

As the war Israel vs. Iranian terror axis was still heating up, there had been countless vids of Apaches gunning down drones with a short burst. Brrp and done. Using fighters is always double edged, missiles are expensive and there won’t be ever enough for all these drones. Gunning drones with jets is dangerous, since they’re too fast. Fighter jets tend to hit the debris of hit drones. Choppers with chin cannons are the way.

Watch them strap EW system on it’s rails and call it a day.
I love european planes/helis, but I hate european buerocracy, they quite literally have an existential threat in form of rusia right by their border, but the only one who seems to be understanding that is Poland.

I doubt that it was a decision on Gaijins part, I think they simply forgot it existed because it’s folded and not at the end of the heli line

I’ve seen choppers chase down drones in Ukraine as well, I don’t think the H145 can or will ever fit one given its civilian nature, maybe they’ll mount a .50 cal on a pylon and call it a day.

dont worry, the devs just forgot about it in the br changes, the next update will already be fixed.

Yeah thats what I had assumed

Well finally

Hoped its the other way around. There’s no way UHT is playing in the same league as the new super helis with DIRCM, LMUR etc. Less than half the range, almost no kill power, no gun, inferior defense systems. Its just a typical Gajin.

I remember when the AH-64D was the same BR as the UHT when it was the only one with fire and forgets 🤣

They couldn’t even be bothered to adjust the lofting so that it at least got a 1 hit k/o buff, same with Spikes

You still had double the amount of missiles, and pre-pantsir, both were decently capable at suppressing enemy teams.

The FnF meta only picked up with the increase in SPAA powercreep
