With all the additions of helicopters with F&F missiles, not to mention the new Russian LMUR missile that has 19kg of explosive, yes 19kg, capable of effectively killing any vehicle while the PARS 3 cannot even kill a Pantsir that has absolutely no armor, the LMUR and the new US missiles surpass both in explosive power and in range, and they are also faster than the PARS 3. Now as if all this about the missile was not enough we also have the fact that the Tiger UHT is completely harmless against aircraft, with a mediocre air to air missile (Stinger) and no cannons, being outclassed in every aspect by these new helicopters. Not to mention it only carries 8 PARS 3. The EC 665 Tiger UHT absolutely deserves a lower tier because it simply does not compete at all with the helicopters of its class at the same tier.
Does not belong with the other top tier helis, I agree
i feel 12.3 for the spike and PARS helis is fine, but its absurd that the new helis taht have double the range fnf missiles are also 12.3, the ah64e, mi28nm and z10me should be 12.7 or 13.0
kinda… but every other heli that has spikes has more spikes (upto 16) and a turret mounted gun as well as more Countermeasures (flares and chaff).
so the UHT and HAC both deserve a BR down or the HAC goes to 12.0 and UHT gets the additional armament i attached in my post above
only 1 helicopter that has spikes gets more than 8 and its the one with the worst FM by far so its a fair trade i reckon
tbf spikes also outrange the PARS by 1 whole Km not to mention that the UHT isnt getting its outer pylon armament like rocket pods
the pars and spikes are equivalents, pars lose 1km range but have nearly x2 the speed
the gun isnt super relevant if youre staying 7km away throwing fnf missiles
and the outer pylon armaments are also not super relevant apart from AA missiles or more fnf missiles if youre staying 7km away
initial speed*
no one stays 7km away. too much flight time. usual engagement ranges are around 4-5km
i only mentioned the range because its a bonus as well as comping in handy against Helis
which is very relevant
wow its almost like initial flight speed is more impactful the closer you are, also its more peak speed than initial speed, so having double that is even more impactful
im aware, my point was that not having dumb rockets wont affect the BR but getting extra fnf missiles would or at least should
will affect multirole ability. for example. i run out of FnF missiles, but theres also no point to stay away from the BF. so i rocket rush. but i cant do that. even though irl the UHT can mount rockets on the outer pylons. no reason can be given that can explain how a UHT copy (HAC) got outer pylon rockets even though it was introduced AFTER the UHT but the UHT doesnt.
i merely clarified your point. no need to be aggressive. and yes, while the velocity of the PARS is a lot better, the results of the weapon system as a whole define the effectiveness of the missile
or add IRCCM irl have it same with other toptier helis…
i mean personally I tend to rearm in that case but yes i understand your point esp the weirdness of a derivative getting them
which lets be honest neither is incredible, damage is too inconsistent
not aggressive just sarcastic, im used to having discussions with far less reasonable people, my apologies
it doesnt have IRCM (you wrote IRCCM but i assume u meant IRCM)
v both can agree on that smh
I dont believe the tigers get DIRCM, only maybe IRCM which is pretty useless
Yes, “Eurocopter” (now part of Airbus Helicopters) does have platforms equipped with DIRCM utions,
you can always bug report it but itll probably get rejected as its technically a different helicopter or something
yes they have platform with DIRCMs but the EC-665 has never mounted any kind of DIRCM nor IRCM. (afaik)
Funnily enough I asked Tiger UHT pilots on NATO days in Ostrava about this config and they said that while it would be theoretically possible, it would threaten the structural integrity of the wing.
