also the ufp protection would be around 550mm KE protection so i was wrong there but still

550mm would be a lot less usable than ~580mm, but it would allow you to tank 3BM60 and other ~570mm pen darts when angled found at 11.0 ~ 12.7.
yeah also the ufp model im pretty sure is wrong aswell it should be more angled not that that would mean much but yk every little helps

Do you know if the ~550mm calculation takes the supposed incorrect UFP into account?

A more angled UFP would increase effective thickness.
So does the 550mm calculation include the fact that it’s suppose to be more angled?
If it does then the supposed wrong angle of UFP wouldn’t change much other than possibly ricocheting rounds a little bit more often.

the model incorrection was just me being stupid i though i read it somewhere mb but the black night specifically is supposed to have even more ufp armour
Ah okay.
a small 50mm plate i doubt would add that much considering its weight ingame is correct and the armour is not it probably wouldnt change
if im being honest the challengers armour needs a complete overhaul because its a mess at the moment

Definitely worth it if it means being able to stop 600-630mm pen APFSDS, especially when angled.
It’s already pretty good but an overhaul would be nice.
The 12.7 Challengers are way too overtiered to be honest, but an improvement to their armour may help them quite a bit.
the ready rack is also far to small sitting at 4 rounds instead of 28.
Where would the 28 rounds sit as a first-stage?
