If your team feeds sp to the enemy near 7.7, you can lose the game and the bonus that comes with it to a plane that on some map, you cannot intercept
and on all other map you only get 1 head on with very near the drop…
I have never been intercepted in a camberas and I only intercepted a early nuclear jet once, and I got lucky with a pilot snipe while he was literaly over the battlefield
It definitly need some balancing
B-29 is free kill, I never failed to intercept a B-29 and I only ever survived being intercepted once
Camberas is a free win button where the enemy cannot do anything against it, exept if one player (usaly the best one) dedicate their whole game to trying to kill it
The Jaguars? Mmmh I think that’s about right thos are balanced (unless top tier)
cannaberas arent that fast especiially after take off LA200 could catch one F80 C10 too ME 262 C2B my favortite 262 cause it looks the best can catch i easily so on so forth maybe a meteor cant but thats about it
to be fair tho nukes should be made easier to drop for the B29s at least they need actual defensive armament
It’s not that they are that fast, it’s the fact they spawn in the air and exept if you are in an especially fast plane, you will not have anything more than a leading shot if you were not in the air before they spawned the nuke

I have ~50 nukes and i can assure you, they also spawn at the AF. Maybe that depends on a map nowadays?
If I had to count I would say I spawned around 8 nukes in the camberra and I dont remember every spawning in the airfield

This is fine. The worst thing is getting the 2500SP and then either being TK’d or being intercepted with no way of countering it. I have only been intercepted in a nuke once, and that was in the B-29. Every other time? I either spawned the nuke too late (my very first nuke) or was shot down by a Pantsir just as I dropped (My most recent Nuke with 11.7 Britain.)
Nukes should be hard to shoot down, they should be terrifying to miss and you should only get one pass at them. Just like the nuke player only gets one shot to drop his bomb, you should only get one shot at being able to intercept them, that was how it was IRL too.

Nukes should not be a free win button, their should be counter play to it
Nukes are allready scary from the fact a single individual who got lucky can win a match while literally no one else on his team got a kill
He’s probably playing arcade, I got a nuke in my Tiger West once and that B29 was airspawned just like any other arcade CAS

I think bombers in general need a complete overhaul of their survivability and the AI gunners need their engagement ranges increased, I get they where reduced for “historical accuracy” but IRL fighter pilots where not flying in 3rd person with mouse aim.
And cutting of a wing or the entire tail with 1 or 2 20mm cannon shells is ridiculous, that’s the kind of damage that the 88 Flak did.
Last time I nuked, it got airspawn above the runway.

Well luck and/or skill issue then I would say. I have once intercepted 2 canberas in one match so it definitely is doable
There is counterplay. You get ONE shot at stopping the nuke plane. And that’s how it should be, if you miss the nuke, then that’s on you. 2500 SP isn’t easy to get, maybe they got lucky or they just locked in and outplayed your team, it doesn’t matter, 2500 SP to spawn in, and drop it. There’s SPAA on your team, there’s a plane or two up in the air, and he has to hope to god that one of the guys on his team doesn’t suffer from envy and TK him. Because legit, he only gets one chance to drop that nuke.
Its hard to intercept jet bomber nukes, that’s fine, that’s how it should be, its way too damn easy to shoot down B-29/Tu-4 nukes. A single fighter isn’t shooting down a bomber, that isn’t how that worked IRL.
