Then silver is not a free currency, by your own standards. It does not matter if you can get it for free because the option to buy it exists, and that’s the problem.
Boosters do not matter. Camouflages barely matter. Decorations also barely matter. The reason why people are engaging with the crates isn’t for boosters, camouflages or decorations, it’s for vehicles, let’s not pretend otherwise. And again, it’s not a no cost if you spend money to get the silver.
No but that doesn’t matter, what matters is that the ability to buy silver with gold, which compromises the entire system.
Only if that person is officially contracted by the developers to give out silver in exchange for the “services” you described. Buying silver with gold is an official way to obtain it, endorsed by the developers.
No, it exists to clear the legal requirement of not having real money traded directly for gambling.
By your own definition, it’s not a free currency if it’s buyable with money. Is that not what you said?
It’s predatory because you can spend real money and you know that’s what I meant. Stop bringing up situations that don’t have anything to do with my arguments.
You are oddly aggressive, as well as incredibly eager to defend a corporation from valid criticisms by players who mostly just want the system to be improved for everyone.
I am “stuck” on it because it shouldn’t be possible to pay for a random reward in a video game using real money. Being able to to buy silver with gold makes that a possibility, no matter the amount of steps between them.
It’s a limited time crate system that exists to trick players into wasting their in-game currency in the hopes that they will buy more with real money. Gaijin is a corporation, they exist to make money at the end of the day, and they have proved time and time again to be extremely greedy. Believing this is done to maximize their earnings is not conspiratorial, it’s the most logical possibility.
