Pantsir already rarely finds my GBUs and AGMs as-is, cause I launch/drop from 9000 meters, above its third-person lock functionality, and its search radar seems to have issues with that angle as well.
This has been from A LOT of testing as well as in-match experience.
I understand MANY people have had their ordnance intercepted, and all I can do is give my parameters for launching weapons at tanks and Pantsirs in ground RB [I usually ignore SPAA as targets since they’re not useful for winning the match].
Seem you don’t even know how Brimstone even work FnF still better than laser and Brimstone have dual mode which mean they can be guided by both radar FnF and laser
assume that Pantsir don’t even play the game slow missile like AGM65 gonna get shoot down eaiser than other with that speed and need a lot of work to make it outrange pantsir in GR7
while SU-25SM3 don’t even need to put any afford (well apart from jet that what it is)
TWS maybe? (only two SPAA in the game have it) and 80degree of radar coverage if they can’t picking on radar it their fault Mav are slow and bomb even slower can’t pick them with TWS is real skills issue things like ITO don’t even have TWS to do that
While I disagree, and while the results of hours of testing bomb and AGM launches from every tech tree against Pantsir has resulted in inconclusive results, there was once a time when Pantsir could see ALL ordnance [release version].
However, from the testing I’ve done, it can’t do that anymore.
You do realize that whatever debate tactic you’re using isn’t working… If you don’t understand what the devs were saying I suggest you put it chatgpt to explain it to you.
So have I, and anyone have used them will understand that it’s not effective at long range, especially if it there’s a competent enemy pantsir.
You gotta quote me on where I implied the KH38’s aren’t effective standoff. the Mavericks are similar to the 38’s but not the same. The KH38 also includes IOG which is good if the target pops smoke (as missile closely approaches) when it’s close to hitting the target. But that’s beside the point, it’s the flight characteristics which makes the mavericks struggle at range.
@HondaCivici
IOG only matters against moving targets. Smoking prior to moving means it goes to the static location.
On top of that, trees block IR, they don’t block radar [currently].
And KH-38s still “suffer” the same flaws as the AGM-65D/G for locking targets as they’re all IR guided.
And yeah, that spreadsheet is what I used against your posts; that spreadsheet disproves your posts’ claims.
Well while I understand that radar guided AGM still not a thing in this game at least they should make Brimstone use IR seeker FnF as place holder (like they did to PARS3 long ago) but also able to switch to laser anytime for more accurate
Not just straight up Hellfire seekers it look dumb if it gonna be guided by just laser then at least it should have range around 30km
I don’t see the problem that let Britain have radar AGM first before anyone act
like radar brimstone gonna make Britain stomp everyone in their ways alone even Sweden+Russia can’t stop them
Its not like they would be alone since the Grom has options for terminal seeker, from a radar or EO seeker, and we’ve already seen the SU-34 firing them in the trailer.
The Brimstone cant hold a candle to the Grom range wise to boot.
